"It's a bit inconvenient because it's a little far from the city center and ride-hailing apps aren't available. However, Vinh at the front desk was very kind and helpful, which was a great help."

"Staff lacks smiles; Restaurant service lacks flexibility even though the service is extremely inconsistent, unreasonable, and generally not worthy of the 5-star title and room price; The TV is tiny compared to the distance from the bed and table to watch, like it's "for show". Overall, extremely disappointed in this return!"

"Hotel located a little away from the city centre, but a little closer to the bus station, which can be practical for travelers. As in many of the facilities in Asia, the bathroom has no shower, bathroom, or courtyard or shower wall. However, it is practical that the toilets are slightly overhigh from the ground of the shower, avoiding wetting. The room was very warm and the room was very warm. There was also a small window in the bathroom that didn't close completely. It did not disturb me, however, because I didn't hear it during the night, just a few times at the beginning of the evening."

"The outside of the building looks lovely, that’s where it ends. The bed is like a concrete slab, and whilst I recognise most Asians like a firm mattress, this is really a hard mattress with no support. Both my husband and I woke up many times in the night with very sore backs. The pillows were as flat as pancakes. We asked for bigger softer ones at reception and housekeeping sent up the same pillows. We had dinner at the restaurant, we both had chicken. The chicken was extremely tough and overcooked. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant also as it was included, very bad selection. The coffee was undrinkable. The room was a large size. The TV in the room worked but was extremely grainy picture. The bathroom was ordinary, you had to be very careful with the shower so it didn’t leak over the floor. The wall next to the toilet was dirty with I don’t know what, looked awful. The staff were attentive, the room was air conditioned but they were the only good points. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again or would recommend."

"This hotel is convenient if you're taking a boat to Cambodia, as the pier is a 2-minute walk away. The rooms are tiny and have a slight sewage smell due to the bathroom plumbing. It's perfectly fine for one night, and the hotel restaurant is delicious and very affordable."

"A very basic hotel and by far the most disappointing of our trip. We were in a group and there was only one elevator... a real problem right from the start! The bedding is unacceptable in a 3-star hotel: it's just a board with a mattress on top, and there are no bedside lamps; if you don't have the same bedtime reading schedule, you have to leave the overhead light on. And let's not even talk about the breakfast, which was extremely disappointing. In short, definitely not a place to stay!"

"This is a beautiful small hotel, located on the edge of town in Chau Doc, so it's refreshingly quiet, but within easy walking distance to many little cafes and restaurants. We had a simply gorgeous double room with a balcony on the fourth floor overlooking the rice fields and Sam Mountain. The decor is really very tasteful, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. We had great food in the restaurant. What stood out for us were the amazing and very peaceful views, and the absolute kindness we were shown by the hotel staff and the owner. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We loved Chau Doc, but The Little Saigon Homestay made our visit very special to us. It's really a charming place with beautiful people who made our stay exceptional. The staff were also very helpful in organising tours for us which really made a difference too. Nothing was too much effort for them. Thank you Little Saigon Homestay! We were very sad to leave. xx"
