Trendy hotel, clean rooms! Great size TV and en-suite. No storage or fridge/safe/microwave/coffee in room. Reception on upper floor with bar (complimentary drink) and lounge with fab rooftop! Food served after 3pm was limited but tasty. Starbucks on ground floor.

The staff was unbelievably wonderful. The location was a bit further than I expected from the downtown area, but still walk able.

Love this hotel, it was very hip and edgy. The location is a little bit outside of central downtown and the surroundings are a bit run down but I think they are working on it. I love the aesthetics of the hotel!

Very basic, was expecting better. Service was indifferent, the staff was monotoned and not customer oriented. Location was BAD! In a bad neighborhood of Charleston. I was not impressed.

Hotel is different, expensive, room was VERY small, no chair to sit on always had to sit on bed. No restaurant just some bar food in the bar. Nice atmosphere in the 6 floor bar. Would I book again, maybe only due to location to family.

Location walking distance to King St and all the shopping and restaurants. Easy check-in Great roof-top area inside/ outside with bar. Room are VERY small but have everything you need for a quick stop in Charleston. Fun Vibe.

Beautiful hotel and in a nice area. Close enough to downtown but far enough from the crazier traffic. The hotel had an event going on the night we stayed and the vibes were great. 10/10 staying here again!

The parking options are limited and valet was over-priced in my opinion. The property is clean, new, and well-furnished. Our room was next to the fitness center and we were awoken very early in the mornings by those dropping the weights and/or banging noise from the machines. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice, quaint rooms. There is no parking in the area, so you need to use the valet parking ($35/day). Although the ******* site says that cooked-to-order breakfast is available, this did not seem to be the case. The staff seemed confused when I asked them about it. The immediate area is not one I would want to travel on foot and there isn't any readily available transportation so be prepared to take your care in and out of valet parking, or Uber, if you plan to go anywhere.

My room was covered with boogers dripping down the doors and walls. After the first day our room was supposed to be changed. However we were advised by the evening manager the room had been cleaned and we would be in the same room. The room still have bodily substances spread throughout. The next day we brought the boogers on the walls to the managers attention. Her response was simply “well what do you want?” What is wanted was a booger free room with no other bodily substances dripping down the wall. I took pictures to show her and she was not interested. Most of the staff in the hotel was excellent. The location was good and the amenities were good. However the room was gross.

Staff and service are fantastic, the room space is well utilized, the food at the bar is tasty, the location is near the freeway which is convenient but is a bit dirty outside.

Nice new hotel right acoss the street from our son's apartment so the location was perfect for us. About a 15-20 min walk to town. Rooms are small but the decor is very nice with a minimalist vibe and comfortable beds!

First the positives: this hotel is beautiful, it is very clean and in excellent condition. All of the staff from parking attendants, to check-in, to bar staff were very pleasant. Neutral pieces which didn't affect our stay but may affect others: hotel rooms are very small and there is no real storage for clothes. You are limited to three hangers (that hang on the wall and not in a closet) and a rack to hold your suitcase. Negatives would be: the only parking is a single lane valet garage which although the attendants were wonderful, was a slow and cumbersome process. There is a large vacant lot next to the hotel. Also, the walls are paper thin between rooms. At 1 a.m. I heard the full conversation of my neighbors as if they were standing over me. Also, since the rooms do not have carpeting, when someone in the room above us dropped something on their floor, it sounded like it was coming through the ceiling. It was inexpensive compared to the other rooms in the heart of Charleston but it is too far of a walk to the sites in Charleston and I think what we saved was less than the amount of parking I spent to visit everything I wanted to see in the city itself. I don't think I'll be staying here again.

Parking options not great unless you valet which is okay for a night or two but it can add up. If you use your free drink coupons it pretty much evens it out. The location is decent but not super walkable. Looking forward to staying at another Moxy location soon!
