"Just had an 11 night stay here and had a lovely time. All the people that work here are very friendly. Great restaurant and good prices. Pool is really nice. The beach is a couple of mins walk away and there are 3 other beaches 8 to 10 mins away. Rooms are basic but clean, plenty of loo roll and clean towels. The air con didn't work properly but was fixed the same day when we reported it. Shout out Nusa the cleaner who took care of us, the very hardworking Tanya who runs the shop and the restaurant and Alex on the bar, everyone was so nice and really made our stay great."

"My wife and I have tried a lot of hotels on Crete and now have finaly found our favorite! A lovely adults-only hotel close to the beach and centre of the village. The staff is exceptionally friendly and really cares about their guests. We had a room with private pool and enjoyed a relaxed bathe in the sun on the comfortable sundbed, followed by a cooling plunge in the privacy of our pool. Starting the day in the Autograph reetaurant with a delicious fully a la carte breakfast was a most relaxing experience. No queing, yet the full range of a buffet to choose from, everything served be the very iriendly staff at the table. The hotel, the beach area and all facilites were clean and well kept. We can certainly recommend the Hormony Boutique Hotel and have already booked our next stay."

"Great time spent in June 2025. The hosts are great. Thank you very much, Maria and your husband and Giorgios for the warm welcome and for ensuring our stay is relaxing and very enjoyable. Location around 15 min walk from Lidl, Synka and about 10 min from the closest sea, you are close to 3 beaches - Yannis, Iguana and Sunset beach from Agioi Apostoli, 15 min by bus to Chania center. The apartment has all you need for your vacation to be without any worries, clean room, well equipped kitchen (also a sandwich maker inside :) ), towels changed twice in a week and linen once but it was ok for us, garbage taken daily. Breakfast and access to a pool at the sister-hotel. Thank you very much again!"

The location is a bit out of the way, but the environment is quite nice, the service is excellent, and the food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. It's great value for money. I unexpectedly celebrated my birthday at the hotel on the day I checked in. Because I arrived at the hotel quite late, I found a cake and champagne in my room when I returned the next day after going out. It was wonderful! 👍"

Firstly, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean; secondly, the overall environment of the resort is very beautiful, and the facilities are complete. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good when we went, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor pool; thirdly, the hotel includes two meals, and the food was plentiful and delicious; the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and rooms were all warm and polite; it's very close to the beach, making it a great place for a relaxing vacation. "Just returned from a weeks stay at The Porto Kalamaki Hotel. I chose this Hotel on the reviews from past holidaymakers! First time to Crete for myself and my Sister! What can I say that hasn’t been written? Fab, views, comfy bed, and what makes it are Andreas, Maria and all the staff at the restaurant,bar,shop.So friendly,hard working nothing too much trouble to make your stay great! The Food was so good! Such good value! Twenty mins by bus to Chania or ten mins to Aghia Marina the other way! We did a couple of trips on the little train visiting villages around and the Hotel can book them for you! Hope to return again next year!😊"

From the moment we set foot on the property to our final departure, the warmth and quality of the resort were evident. While the physical setting is lovely, what truly elevates this property to genuine five-star status is its people. A heartfelt thank you to each and every staff member for making our trip so exceptionally memorable. Arrival & Accommodations Seamless Check-In: After a journey, the last thing you want is a drawn-out check-in process. Arrival here was an absolute breeze—swift, welcoming, and relaxed. Immaculate Rooms: Our room was stunning, immaculate, and beautifully decorated with modern touches. Effective Climate Control: A huge bonus was the air conditioning system; it was whisper-quiet yet powerful, blowing cold and high whenever needed to keep the room perfectly comfortable. Outstanding Staff & Personalized Hospitality The level of service here goes well beyond standard hospitality. Every single team member we encountered was consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Main Restaurant Excellence: A massive shoutout to Ray and Van in the main restaurant for their attentive care, bright attitudes, and seamless service during meal times. Pool Bar Attention to Detail: Special recognition goes to Antonis at the pool bar for providing some of the best service I've ever experienced. I tended to order the same drinks at various points throughout the day, and after the first couple of times, Antonis had already memorized my preferences. As I walked toward the bar, he was already prepping my drink! That kind of intuitive, thoughtful attention to detail is incredibly rare. Guest Relations: Thank you to Katerina for her consummate professionalism and proactive guest relations management. She ensured every aspect of our stay ran smoothly. Food, Dining & The Spa Buffet Dining: The food was consistently delicious. The all-inclusive buffet is brilliantly curated. Rather than overwhelming guests with mountains of mediocre food that lead to unnecessary wastage, the hotel focuses on top-tier quality, beautiful presentation, and a fantastic balance of fresh, healthy options alongside regular favorites. Spa & Wellness: I decided to book a sports massage at the spa to try and address a painful, nagging shoulder issue I'd been dealing with. The therapist did a phenomenal job—by the end of the treatment, the pain was completely gone. Truly therapeutic work! Minor Points for Consideration To give an honest and balanced picture for future guests, there were a couple of minor areas that could be improved: À la Carte Steak: While the main buffet food was superb, our experience at the à la carte restaurant was a bit mixed. The beef steak I ordered was unfortunately quite gristly and fatty, which didn't quite live up to the high standards set by the rest of the culina"

"Just back from Mrs Chrysannas. The hotel was very pretty and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As we arrived late 1am, there was no-one to meet us, but our key and directions were left at the front door and we checked in fully the next day. The room was spacious, had a good sized balcony with sea view, but was in the shade all day and the room lacked storage for our clothes having just a wardrobe and only enough room in the drawers for underwear, so we lived out of our cases. The pool area was lovely but not so of you have children, as nothing for them except a shallow pool. The pool did not open until 10.30 so if you want an early morning swim you will be disappointed and closed at 7.30 for our 1st week but got earlier and earlier during our stay until it was closing at 6. This hotel advertises as quiet and tranquil and it was, but was lacking in atmosphere and could have done with some Cretan music at the bar and in the background at the restaurant area to remind us of where we were staying! The food. Well it was a bit hit and miss for us. Staying all inclusive we had a buffet for the meals. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of cooked or continental. but the cooked was cold by the time we reached the table with it. Lunch and dinner were uninspiring and we were offered some very fatty pork on at least 4 occasions. There was a lack of vegetables at the evening meal - thank goodness for the greek salad which I ate a lot of! Other reviews mentioned a bbq at the pool area during the day but all we were offered was sandwiches and cake. We ate out several times to get a more greek experience. The area was quiet, the village was small and a bit out of the way but the bus to Chania was frequent and cheap. Loved Chania!. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt it could have been better"

"False Advertising: The photos presented on your website do not correspond at all to reality. They show another hotel, much more modern and clean. Upon arrival, I discovered an old, poorly maintained room with a musty, dirty smell. Unsanitary Conditions: The room was in a deplorable state. The outlets were yellow with grime, the bed was infested with insects, and there was hair on the sheets. The toilet was so dirty that I felt physically ill when I saw it. In addition, the bath towels were stained yellow. Additional Problems: I discovered that the air conditioning was chargeable, which was not mentioned when I booked. In addition, the Wi-Fi, which was supposed to be included, did not work at all. Poor customer service: When I explained the situation to the receptionist, he refused to help us and was extremely rude. Based on these facts, I believe that the hotel has not respected the conditions of the reservation, and that the quality of service is well below what is acceptable."
