The family room had decent size bunk beds with slides. The throw pillows and stuffies are less than clean to be honest. The outlets were poorly add-ons than were either not working nor safely fitted if you are traveling with young children. We don’t recommend this one for families with young children."

Although I only stayed one night, I felt the service was attentive, and the staff were very patient. I happened to be there when they added soy milk and tofu pudding to their breakfast menu; the soy milk was fragrant and the tofu pudding was smooth and delicate. It's a hotel with a very Home Inn-like feel, and I was very satisfied. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to visit Changning again."

The boss is very good to the kids and often peels apples and steams buns for them 3. The chef’s cooking skills are super good, better than the meals we ate outside, and the price is cheaper, with a very high cost-effectiveness. He also made us supper 4. It was very quiet to sleep at night 5. The view was great and clean 6. The only thing is that it would be nice if there was an elevator hahaha In short, the experience was great!"

I have to give a huge shout-out to Banshan Zhuyuan (Half-Mountain Bamboo Courtyard)! 📍 Location & View: Perched halfway up the mountain, the view is absolutely superb! You can see the bamboo sea and cloud sea right from your balcony, feeling like you're living in a fairyland. Every photo you take looks like it's from a magazine. 🛏 Room Environment: The decor is very tasteful, with an all-bamboo and wood design that feels both rustic and modern. The room was super clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. I had a rare good night's sleep amidst the bamboo forest. 🍽 Dining: I highly recommend their home-style dishes! The bamboo fungus feast was incredibly delicious, the ingredients were very fresh, and the chef's skills were outstanding. It tasted much better than restaurants outside, and the prices were fair. 👩🍳 Service: This is what I want to praise the most! The owner and staff were all super enthusiastic. They helped with luggage, patiently explained the sightseeing routes, and made us feel as warm as if we were visiting relatives 🥳🥳 Definitely a must-revisit!"

According to the boss's plan, we visited most of the scenic spots in one day. I have to say that there were traffic jams everywhere on May Day. We finished work at 6pm. When we arrived at the hotel, the boss recommended a few dishes and agreed on the prices in advance. The room is also clean and hygienic, and the price is relatively cheaper than other hotels! "1. The standard room I booked has a bed of 1.5m, with a balcony and terrace. If you stay for one night, the terrace can be ignored. The room leads to the terrace through an ordinary door, not a security door. The terrace outside is connected to the mountain. At night, we used two large chairs to hold the door. The boss was very confident in security, so we felt relieved. The hot water was also fast. It might be more convenient to install a makeup mirror at the washbasin. The other facilities in the room were OK. I think the price of more than 600 during the May Day holiday is acceptable. 2. In terms of service, I think it is very good in Shunan Bamboo Sea. We have 3 adults and 1 child. The boss also gave the children disposable slippers. Drinking water is also free in addition to 2 bottles. There were only two breakfasts in the room, and the boss also exempted one adult and one child. The attitude of other service staff was also very good. 3. The sanitation is OK. One bad thing is that the spare bedding is randomly put into the closet. Although I didn't use it, it was not good. 4. The B&B is in the scenic area, so you have to rely on the restaurant of this B&B for meals. The taste is good and very local. There is also a portion of burning noodles for breakfast. The tea served with the meal is amazing. The owner said it is called bamboo orchid tea, but I couldn't find it online. 5. We stayed one night on the 4th and left on the 5th. There were not many people, parking was very convenient, and the environment was good. The owner must have carefully built it, and the flowers, plants, and waterscapes were well managed. "Facilities: The construction was shoddy. Even if the AC drainage had to go into the bathroom, they could have at least extended and secured the pipe. As it was, it just hung there, and you couldn't avoid the condensation when showering. The pool was okay, but the hot spring pool floor was quite dirty. Hygiene: There was dust on the top bunk, but the sheets were clean enough. Environment: The overall natural environment of Shunan Bamboo Sea is great, with no noise or pollution nearby. Service: When we extended our stay, they didn't even provide enough towels for cleaning – only three towels for four people. No one mentioned the Hanfu experience or afternoon tea that was advertised on Trip.com."
