Friendly and efficient staff. My siblings and I opted to come here for a last hurrah before my brother moves overseas. We travelled with 2 small children. Great choice, they have kiddie pool and it’s open until 10pm. Beach fronting so it’s convenient. Restaurant is open breakfast straight to dinner. Friendly, flexible and efficient staff.

My Titas from Canada and US together with my Cousin who work from Dubia and other cousins decided to have a beach break after the wake of my Tita so we all decided to try Club Serena Resort. It was the best choice we had because we had rested and enjoyed a lot. The accomodation was perfect and the staff was so accomodating that it turns our mini vacation in a perfect gate away. Everyone love the place despite the slight problem of the wifi because of its serene place that its almost a private resort for us even there are other guest. We surely go back in this place.

Great small resort in Moalboal, no so hard to find in the north side, the beach is really good, good spots for snorkeling, saw some sardines in the mornings. Staff very helpful, room clean and tidy, restaurant offers different choices of food for local and westerns! Nice experience

Great Resort. Beach is beautiful, the pool is fantastic, the rooms were great. The staff are fantastic Richard at the front desk is an absolute gem. It’s our second time here and it’s a great spot. We paid 6k for a great room. It’s about a 15 mins from the main town so having transport is a must. Highly recommended.

Location: Very bad bumpy road before you can reach to the hotel. Nothing much going on around the property. Room: We stayed at two of the deluxe pool access suites. The hygiene level is questionable- the floor is very sticky, the outdoor shower is faulty, the electricity gone twice, one of the suites has faulty lock- the room cannot be locked at all. Most of the bathroom appliances are rusty. Super low water pressure. Pool: not clear and can spot some plastic in the garden pool. However the pool besides the restaurant looks inviting. Beach- looks good during high tide. Only during high tide. Pretty sunset could be seen from the property. Service: Just average- nothing overwhelming. F&B: Buffet breakfast was good for the first day. Ala carte wasn’t good. Requested for butter and have been told they have no butter but there is a toaster and jam. Second day breakfast has very limited buffet spread and again the ala carte was not good.

Had a very brief stay, but the experience was good. Staff welcomed us with drinks and snacks and accommodated requests for use of safe and takeaway breakfast. They also assisted with luggage (there's a flight of stairs to reach the villas). The room is romantically lit, with good quality finishing, and they provided an air purifier. Unfortunately there were mosquitoes, which is to be expected. The security is mainly located at the gates of the entrance to the hotel, though the property has beach access, and I did wonder how safe it was that the sliding doors to the rooms had no locks and the balcony in front of it was not exactly insurmountable. We checked out in the wee hours of the morning, and it wasn't a problem. The roads leading up to the hotel are narrow and takes some time for a car or vane to navigate. Toiletries provided were comprehensive, and they had a very handy and necessary hair dryer in the room. Compound is large and there is a pool and bar area.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and while I would like to have had another day or two in Moalboal, I regret staying here at White Beach - all the action is at Panagsama beach and is the place where you should stay. The White Beach is more like hard stone and stray dog beach, and you're miles away from all the bars, restaurants and activities that Moalboal has to offer. As for Club Serena, it's just okay. The staff are lovely and the grounds are okay, but we had problems with the garden villa where we stayed - TV wasn't working, the Wifi was unusable and the shower was a weak dribble. The road to the hotel is a pot-holed dirt track, so hang onto your hat! One positive, if you can call it that - we were delayed getting back from Oslob and were going to miss the 12pm checkout, but they kindly moved our stuff out of the room so that we didn't incur their 50% (!) late checkout fee. My partner was against them doing this until she heard how much they were going to charge... I also hired a motorcycle from the hotel - turns out, it belonged to one of the staff. On the last day of my rental, the horn stopped working, and the owner insisted that I pay 350 pesos for the 'damage'. I paid to avoid any confrontation.

I was so stress out back in the city because of my work and I really want to go to the beach somewhere in Moalboal for a quiet time. Good thing I knew about this in Moalboal where it’s secluded and I can really take some break from the hustle and bustle. The food were really delicious, and I really had great quiet time. Excellent customer service

I stayed in Club Serena last weekend of March with friends, we occupied a couple of the beach front casitas. Given the resort's location (a bit hidden, accessed via a relatively obscure road from the highway), I was impressed with the casita, furniture well-appointed, sufficient airconditioning, and with a view of the ocean and afternoon sunset. The pool was clean, the resort restaurant comfortable and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The beach is right outside, so you can immediately begin snorkelling and easily arrange to do the sardine run at Panagsama Beach. The only drawback was there was a water pressure problem the day we arrived (i.e., no water in the room for toilet and shower), but this was resolved the next day. Other than that, I would definitely come back, and would recommend this resort to my contacts.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the resort. I wish there was a safety deposit box and a hair blower. Also the treehouse 2 that we stayed in doesn’t have warm water, it’s not working and the aircon is old and bit noisy. Other than that, everything is wonderful.

The rate of the resort was a bit high compared to my favorite resort at Hale Manna (PHP 4000 with a full breakfast ). This rate includes complimentary breakfast for one and strong wifi. I intended to stay for two nights but changed my mind due to the following reasons: - weak wifi - complimentary breakfast does not have a selection - only chicken Tocino was offered. I complained because I was informed only upon payment of my first night at the resort. - breakfast selection served had tiny portions of everything (tiny omelet, corned beef, 2 cold pieces of bread, and 2 tiny pieces of pineapple slices ) with coffee. - there was no breakfast section at the restaurant like other resorts where choices of bread and pastries, fruits, cereals, coffee & tea, and juices were placed for the second helpings. - RJ the manager did a service recovery by upgrading my room to Casitas 3. However, I could not enjoy it because there was a loud band playing up until 10 PM. If you plan to stay for a night don't choose Saturday. - there is only a mobile contact number to place your request and no one answered when I requested for kettle replacement. I did decide to check out the next day.

This is my favorite resort in Moalboal. If you want some peace and quite this is the place to be. The family rooms are just perfect for the whole gang. All rooms are well designed. The food and drinks are good too. The resort has its own pools and access to the white beach that leads to Basdako Beach. They also have stand up paddles and kayaks.

My family and I keep going back here because we can get a lot of rest, relaxation and adventure all rolled into one. There’s a bunch of reasons why we love Club Serena, but these are the top things that comes into mind when we think of this place: 1. Checking in and checking out, remarkably fast and hassle-free. 2. The white sand beach with its crystal clear waters, and the view of the sunset is one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever laid eyes on. 3. The staff is the best part of it too. You will be welcomed with smiles and a whole lot of genuine hospitality. It’s like they already know what you need even before you've thought of it. 4. The amenities, very satisfactory. Rooms are really clean and cozy, and the beds are super comfortable. Pools are maintained on a daily basis. 5. Food is great. I should remind myself to order the Crispy Pata again on our next visit. Hopefully, they’ll have a Happy Hour soon. 6. Consistency is the key, and that is what we always get here. We love the place and we love the people. It is truly, by far, the best resort we have ever been to in Cebu.
