The location was quite good, although it is a bit far from the main U-Nikko Station. If you are looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay, I highly recommend it. However, keep in mind that the distance may increase your travel time, so you should plan for an extra hour in your itinerary.

Decent hotel with a small onsen. There's a free access to the bigger onsen in a neighboring hotel, but that one was super crowded and dirty. The room was fine, but the beds was not very comfortable and there were hair from the previous guests. Tea, coffee, water weren't provided. In general the hotel is good for its price, though.

Traditional style hotel, with the interior looking like ryokan, which we really enjoyed (except the dark hallways). Furniture was a bit old but I'll take it as part of the charm. Check-in was instant, the reception staff was hospitable. The onsen was great too, I recommended it. Location is a bit more far then other hotels.

I drove my mother there. The hotel is relatively old, but it has the flavor of the Showa era. You have to put away your slippers when you enter. No dirt is allowed in the hotel. The large bath is outside the hotel and is relatively spacious. There is no breakfast and dinner service outside holidays, but it is understandable, after all, there are not many local tourists.

I like it very much. I will stay here again next time. It's good and worth the price.

The room is in Japanese style. The room is clean and spacious. The WiFi signal is good. There is an onsen to soak in. The staff is good. They can't speak English but they are willing to help. There are no restaurants in the area. You have to buy food at 7-Eleven which is about 400 meters away from the hotel.

I came to Nikko for a holiday before Christmas and chose this hotel. The room is large and clean, the environment is quiet and beautiful, the price is quite affordable, and the cost performance is very high. The hotel service is very good and the staff is very considerate.

The hotel room is very spacious, wider than the normal standard size.  Although it is quite far from the station, you can still walk there. There are not many restaurants in the hotel area. There is only a 250-meter wait to order and a 7-Eleven that you have to cross the street to get to.

Environment: Beautiful environment. The yard is small but clean and tidy. But it is limited to the surrounding area. It feels like a hot spring hotel with some years. The indoor facilities are quite complete. There is a lounge where you can drink milk and eat your own food. There are microwave ovens and boiled water. It is very considerate. However, from the details, it is dilapidated everywhere, the furniture is old, and the lights in the room are dim. The most exciting thing is that every night when I return to the room, I can see bedbugs crawling on the lights and curtains. Because I live on tatami, I am afraid that the bugs will fall on the bed, so I can only catch bugs every day. Caught 5 bedbugs in two days. It was like playing Animal Crossing... Facilities: Yukata, bath towels and comic books are available in the lobby. It is quite convenient. Big bath: From the room to the big bath, you have to go through the open-air road, the rugged path and the stone steps. Pay special attention to safety on rainy days. Arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock to store luggage. There was no one at the front desk. You had to call the staff. The grandfather at the front desk was kind, but the middle-aged brother always made people feel impatient. The transportation system near Kinu River is not well developed. There are only a few buses a day. It is recommended to use the local app to check in advance. If you take a taxi, it is not difficult to get a taxi from the station to the hotel. The difficulty is that it depends entirely on luck to get a taxi from the hotel... It takes about 12 minutes to walk. The train to Nikko also runs every 45 minutes. Check the timetable when traveling.

I felt like the temperature of the hot spring was low.
