Staff- were very friendly and helpful if you are not familiar with the area, Room- bed was very comfortable and room was very spacious with a sofa by the window, toilet was ok size and had a rain shower(downside; no toilet roll just tissue in a box), room temperature only went as low as 19degrees C so got a bit hot at night but room was very quiet so very nice sleep, nice little kettle with the norm but only enough for 2 cups so have to pop to reception to re-stock. Food/restaurant- staff were decent and friendly, breakfast food was a continental style drinks - apple, cranberry, orange, water, coffee maker and tea. Pastry counter- muffin blubbery, croissant, chocolate pastry, crumpets, brow/white bread toaster etc etc. Main cooking area- sausage egg-scrambled or fried- bacon, beans and black pudding everything you want for breakfast basically not to mention fridge stuff and cereal. This was very tasty compared to previous hotel breakfasts I have had so well played to the chef. Dinner was basic pizzas burgers and deserts, not much in way of dinner choices but it’s in the deal so it’s perfect and get a free pint too. All in all great stay as 5 mins away from everything however -1 as they only have a pay car park on site and my van got damaged there so please take pics of your vehicle before leaving it for the night.
