"Terrible!! Potatoes in the room and they wouldn't allow me to change rooms due to the late hour, even though I had a 6-month-old baby sleeping in the room. I immediately checked out and was told they would refund the amount but that I would have to contact Trip Advisor. I informed Trip Advisor and requested a refund for the stay, as I hadn't even enjoyed one night of my reservation. Trip Advisor informed me that the hotel didn't authorize the refund. I will certainly not return to the hotel or use the services of the trip."

"The location of the apartment is perfect, in front of the sea, with direct access to the beach and the pool, ideal for a few days of rest. However, the services leave a lot to be desired. The apartment does not have any type of amenities, such as a bottle of water, coffee or other products usually available in 4-star accommodations. Despite having a coffee machine and a dishwasher, there wasn't even a coffee capsule or washing up liquid. There was also no drainer to dry hand-washed dishes. I requested twice, both by phone and in person, a pair of slippers and detergent for the washing machine, but they were never delivered. I even went to reception (which is in another structure) during the night, where they assured me that they would be delivered the next morning, which did not happen. In short, the apartment is spacious and well located, but the total lack of services and the lack of attention to guests' requests make the experience quite disappointing. A shame, because the space has a lot of potential."

"We were here 2x in July, first a week and then another long weekend with the kids. It was great in every way! The place is beautiful, the houses wonderful and the location on the quiet and beautiful beach unique. But what made it a 10 is the friendliness and customer focus of everyone working there. We got a nicer and better place for both stays than the one we had reserved. Extra time had been put in to find the best spot for us and they were fantastic. If we called with a question someone was in the house within minutes to help us. We will be back!"

"Do not book this apartment if you value your privacy. The apartment is equipped with multiple cameras that will automatically make pictures every 10 minutes. This surveillance is present in both bedrooms, in the living room and at the entrance. None of this was mentioned before check in. At the check in, the reception asks you to sign a paper where surveillance is described in Portugese and you agree to that complete surveillance. Needless to say, you can not get a refund and search for another hotel or apartment when you are checking in and are presented that surveillance surprise. Additionally, the receptionist will lie to you stating "I see that paragraph the first time and there are no cameras at the apartment". I will surely not return to Apartmentos Marina because I do care about my personal privacy and my legal rights."
