Carbis Bay and Spa Hotel

The room is different than you describe online. Services are really poor, staff attitudes were so bad for any hospitality standards. I rarely gave negative comments towards hotel booking, but I am really unhappy this time.

Amazing Apartment ! We stayed in one of their apartments for Mothers Day ! Absolutely amazing for a family of 4 . Lovely sea view and everything you need in the fridge . Very clean and breakfast delivered in the morning as well . Absolutely recommend these apartments!

Wonderful room, building, staff, scenery, restaurants, beach, walks and places to visit , everything, in fact, so definitely look forward to visiting again. Loved the view from our room. Walked to Saint Ives and visited Saint Michael’s Mount. Would recommend unreservedly.

The hotel was excellent. We got a really good deal for dinner, bed and breakfast. They reception team and all of the staff are amazing and incredibly helpful especially Ilmer on the front desk. Would highly recommend. Fabulous place! They helped with an allergy issue that my wife had. They could not of been more accommodating. Proximity to the beach and to the train station is excellent, although the latter requires the ability to walk up a very steep hill !!! We had a junior suite with Seaview and it was amazing. We ate dinner in the orangery and, in waters restaurants. Both were excellent with great food and attentive service. We will be returning!

We had the most amazing stay at the Carbis Bay Hotel and would like to thank every single member of staff who made our weekend an unforgettable one. Having stayed at the Carbis bay Estate a few times before in various accommodation, this time we wanted to bring our friends. Much to our excitement, We were offered a luxury lodge and it certainly delivered! From our own private hot tub overlooking the beach, to the welcoming living space, we had the best weekend imaginable. The beds were extremely comfortable and it couldn't have been any more relaxing leaving the bedroom door ajar each night to listen to the sound of the sea crashing on the beach. The concierge service was wonderful and every member of staff we encountered were very welcoming and friendly. We had dinner in Walter’s on the Beach which was faultless, accompanied by some lovely cocktails. We used the spa as and when we wanted to and when it started to rain it really didn’t make a difference as we were in the hot tub enjoying the stunning scenery. Each morning we were able to jump out of bed and literally step onto the beach to enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea. What a way to start the day! On the Sunday two of us ordered an afternoon tea which was yummy whilst the other two ordered the roast beef and roast pork and stated that it was the best roast dinner they had ever had! Leaving was certainly hard as we all had the most wonderful weekend!

First of all I want to say wow !!! Girlfriends and I came for 1 night in lodge 5 We were greeted by Paul the concierge , he was fantastic he walked us through everything and nothing was to much trouble , all of us were quite overwhelmed how wonderful the whole place was but mostly how amazing and personable the staff are , thank you for making our stay just perfect !! x I have never felt so relaxed and didn’t want to leave ! We have re booked for October for 2 nights and can’t wait to come back x Thank you Everyone

I stayed last weekend at Carbis Bay Hotel in one of their incredible beach lodges. The experience was incredible from the wow factor of the location, the lodge, the comfort and convenience of everything on offer. Our stay happened to fall on a feast night with live music which was a fun evening with exceptional food and service. From the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble. We had a warm welcomed and shown to our accommodation with help to take our luggage down which had everything you could need from kitchen and living facilities, all rooms in the lodge had a sea view and even a bath in one of the rooms with a sea view. We had a hot tub on the ground level which we could also access the beach at ease. We had lovely weather that meant we could relax in the garden of the lodge with comfortable furniture. We arrived to a welcome hamper full of local goodies and a bottle of bubbles to start the celebrations. There were bath robes, flip flops and everything you needed at the location. There is a lovely walk into St Ives if you want to visit somewhere during the day. The hotel has use of the gym and spa with heated pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. I had a lovely memorable stay and would highly recommend to anyone.

It was okish The radiator was hanging off wall and we could not have a bath as the plug did not fit Very disappointed as we did call this chap up to our room oldish guy who was hopeless but promised to sort out the next day .... but did nothing , we never saw anyone to rectify the problems Also every time we wanted a hot drink in our room we had to call reception who brought up milk when they had time Not brilliant service at all Would we stay again .... No Would we recommend... No There's better places to stay
