Grand Resort Bad Ragaz

A total experience of calm, luxury and rest. This hotel, the staff, the facilities are out of this world and the scenery is breathtaking! From the moment we arrived until the left the attention to detail was superb! This should be on everyone’s list to visit!

I am a frequent traveler and love 5 star experiences. My first stay at Grand Hotel Bad Ragaz was beyond amazing. Let's start with the free pick up from the train station and the warm welcome by Luis at the reception. I had a little tour of the hotel which is huge and so opulent and I had a princess feel. The club sandwich in the lobby bar was just delicious and the service was very good . I also had dinner at the Italian restaurant and even though I was in Switzerland I had one of the best pizzas ever and the service was top notch. My highlight is the spa... just WOW the words are not enough to describe it, you should see this! I look forward to coming back soon and thank you so much for making people happy and making them feel special

After few years I returned to Grand Hotel, it had been always my escape to paradise and I enjoyed it immensely. This time I was surprised by not finding the reception where it used to be, the entry to Grand Hotel was instead filled with shops and boutiques. Do you really find it necessary and profitable? I have never seen any customers in these fancy boutiques, I hated them, the hotel changed into a market, kind of upper class market with cashmere clothes and glitter junk. Not so many oligarchs any more, so what is it good for? The new design of the rooms is rather disappointing, I prefered the old, cosy beige, golden style. Anyway, Helena Bad is still the same and the staff is gentle, kind and professional. Please, get rid of these ridiculous shops and reinstall the old reception desk.

The junior suite at Quellenhof facing the park is just perfect! Services are friendly and efficient, facilities are well-kept, elegantly designed! Highly recommended! We did get one of the worst rooms upon check-in, but it was rectified. The Roman-style indoor thermal pool is the main attraction for us. So all in all, it was a fabulous experience, we love the triennial art installations set up in the whole village!

Stay at Grand Bad Ragaz Wellness Resort became a yearly attendance. Friendly staff, feel better than home, professionalism, perfect hospitality, large room make your accommodation so comfortable. The medical section is one of the most important in the world with high experienced & educational doctors & staff.

We attended the yearly Gault Millau garden party (which is always a grand event) and had a package with 2 nights at the hotel. Our room was very large and beautiful and the resort is very nice. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed by the food - we had ordered room service and had to wait nearly an hour (!) for a club sandwich and a soup. The club sandwich was very small and the chicken very dry - very disappointing, especially considering the price (CHF 44). Breakfast at the restaurant Verve is a very nice buffet - I had ordered the waffle with berries and again, the waffle was tiny, buried under great amounts of fruit compote. This was included in the breakfast charge, but again, disappointing.
