Illu B&B

I politely requested an overnight rate for June or August 2024 from the owner of the Illu B&B in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, by email in October 2023 and identified myself as an international tourist from Germany. That was a serious mistake, because in the reply email from the owner of the B&B I was asked to look for a room in the two significantly more expensive hotels in town, as the Illu B&B was supposedly occupied by a tour group that there shows up each year from June to August. However, this is a blatant lie on the part of the owner, as it can be proven that there are rooms available at the Illu B&B during the period I requested via international booking portals such as ***********, **********, *******.de, but the accommodation owners on site in Cambridge Bay like to cheat international individuals-tourists on the most expensive rooms. Such business behavior is outrageous and highly dubious! It seems businessmen in Cambridge Bay think they can financially exploit international individual-tourists coming by plane as well as package tourists coming by cruise ship! Those are characterless businessmen there. Cambridge Bay and the Illu B&B there are absolutely not recommended!
