Pearly Grey Ocean Club Apartments & Suites

Way below expectations. This hotel has great potential, but chooses to offer a bare minimum service and trick guests into paying for a hotel that is way worse than the photos suggest. 1. Cockroaches, several including on the floor, walls, and in my bed, in the room (which after I reported this to the receptionist I was told first that they don't have cockroaches, then they asked me for photos of them, then told that they didn't have other rooms of the same grade I paid to give me so I'd have to pay for an upgrade). 2. They offer way less services than they make it seem including lots of hidden costs: you have to pay 20€ a day for the large sunbeds, pay 2€ for each game of snooker, the Edge bar thats on the cliffs and makes for great photos was closed for the entire duration of our stay, the gym is only open 9-17 Monday - Saturday

My favourite RCI resort.....breathtaking views , the apartments are always spotlessly clean . The staff are so friendly , they make everybody feel at home , its like one big happy family.....we try and get back every year.

What makes Pearly Grey special? Is it the stunning sea views? The clear horizon across to La Gomera? The well equipped rooms? The location in the just-right village of Callao Salvaje? The proximity to enough fantastic restaurants to last the holiday? An on-site restaurant serving excellent choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and means you actually don't want to go elsewhere? The low-key but talented evening singers which hits the right note between cheesy and welcome holiday entertainment? The delicious cocktails? The 2 for 1 happy hour? The beauty salon who got our toes pool-ready within 2hrs of arriving? Yes - it is all those things but much more than that, it's the people. Pearly Grey staff go above and beyond in every way from the little gestures to the wonderfully helpful. Special mentions to James's Quo Restaurant team including Claire, Margaret, Ruth, Thierry & Victor who made every meal a pleasure and the Reception wonders - Tracy, Christophe, Priscilla, William, & Melissa who offered kind words, advice, and practical help way beyond their remit. Holidays are so precious and it's clear that the PG team don't just understand that - they go out of their way to make ensure guests have everything they need.
