"By mistake I made a booking for a day before I wanted to stay. Tried to cancel immediately and contacted the hotel. No reply. Although they are serving mostly people going to England the staff speaks extremely limited English and is not helpful at all. Once we stayed there, they refused to serve beer, claiming "no chef no beer" shame"

"This is the most perfect hotel in Calais. Super friendly staff and management. We regularly visit Calais and would not dream of stopping anywhere else. Breakfast buffet is really good with a great choice and times that ensure you can enjoy it leisurely. Bar is excellent and is very reasonably priced. The hotel has secure parking underground which can accommodate both estate and SUV type cars. There is a garden area at the back that is a quiet haven to sit out in, you wouldn't believe you were so near the main road to the beach. We always try to stay in the same room, and this has a wonderfully large comfortable bed and a great rain shower in the bathroom. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough."
