Firstly, all the staff are amazing – from the reception team, to the team who served at breakfast, to the pool/bar staff; everyone was extremely welcoming, helpful, attentive, friendly, energetic & very well presented in fashionable ‘uniform’. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels & I have to say this is one of the best experiences I have ever had in relation to the staff! Breakfast was delicious, I looked forward to it every morning; huge variety to choose from - everything so fresh & well presented. Eating on the terrace overlooking the beautiful sea every morning made it even better & the service was amazing, with consistent coffee refills. The hotel is beautifully trendy inside & has been renovated to a really high standard. Again, furniture in the room’s really good quality & it was a great touch to have an iron & ironing board in the room (this is rare in hotels but needed). I would say the only negative is the size of the standard rooms, while we hardly spent any time in there – it was really quite tight trying to get ready on the evenings with limited space. There are three pools to spend your time around with different styles of sunbeds; this was great as you never got bored of the scenery – you could move around each day or go to the beach which is of course on the doorstep! Food served at the pool bar / bungalow was great – enjoyed everything we ate & again just super service! You are welcome to use the sister hotel Mondrian opposite, which is stunning inside. It has a beautiful little café & bar overlooking the sea (best wine & mojito we had during our stay). Really impressed that reception provided us with a key to a spare room to shower/get ready after checking out & before our late flight. There is also a really secure & well organised luggage storage system. Shame the city boat was cancelled due to the damage to the pier outside the hotel from the recent storm - this would have been great to use to get around (rather than taxis) & would of made our time in Ibiza better. It looked like they were working on fixing it during our stay, so I’d imagine it will be back in action soon. Thanks to the Hyde Ibiza Team for being great!
