カイロの昔ながらの雰囲気、イスラムの香りをを味わいたくて、このホテルに2泊滞在しました。 貴重なロケーションと建物と部屋の雰囲気は自分の想像通りで素晴らしく、選んで良かったと思いました。 更にスタッフの皆さんの対応が予想以上で、入口のセキュリティに立っているアタラさん、フロントのサブリさん、客室など全般を見てくれたアブダッラさんをはじめ全員誰一人例外なく良い感じでした！ 屋上のレストランは室内と屋外があって、夕食、朝食共に座る場所を選べます。朝食は３つの定食があり、２日目に食べた「カントリー」は薄く焼いたパイに蜂蜜と豆のパウダーで作った（自分の分析なので違ったらごめんなさい）シロップをかけるスイーツが良かった。 ネガティブな意見としてあった２点。騒音と車でのアクセスについて。 ・建物が木造で隣室や上階の音と外の喧騒、そして近隣の夕食時の音楽は確かに良く聞こえてきます。ベッドサイドには新品の耳栓が置いてあります。個人的にはそれらを体験しに行ってるのと平気で寝られるほうなので問題ありませんでしたが、ひとつアドバイスすると４階は上階がレストランなので人の足音や椅子を引く音がしてきます。避けたい場合は２階や３階をリクエストするのが良いと思います。 ・確かに車が入れない交通規制のエリアで僕が着いた夕方の時間帯は人や商店の搬入車両もあってタクシーが入り難いようです。僕はタクシーを周辺の大きな道路で降りてハンドキャリーで6-7分歩いて到着し、帰りも同様に大通りに出てからUberを呼びました。ただ、午後の早い時間帯までは人通りは少ないです。ホテルに聞いたら、荷物が多い等で車でアクセスしたい場合には事前に相談してくださいとのことでした。

As the name suggests this is a charming hotel with exceptional staff. The individual suites are spacious and very comfortable at the end of a day exploring. The rooftop restaurant is a destination in itself- so good we didn’t bother going anywhere else. A delightful way to experience the real Cairo that you wouldn’t get in an expensive chain hotel. We knew about the noise from the surrounding markets and coffee houses before we booked. It was definitely there but didn’t stop us sleeping soundly- didn’t need the ear plus provided by the hotel. If you are sensitive to noise and can’t manage steps this place isn’t for you. We loved it though.

You can’t ask for a better location for a hotel! The staff were extremely kind and always willing to help! The food was amazing, the room was massive and had great food! They have ear plugs if you are a light sleeper because it is the heart of the city. Would love to stay again in the future!

Our stay at Le Riad was truly amazing. Breakfast is excellent and very generous — almost like a full lunch. We chose the Egyptian breakfast, but there is also the option of a more traditional continental breakfast or the “country” one, which is somewhere in between. The rooms are very spacious and each one is decorated differently, perfectly reflecting the style and character of the area. The terrace where breakfast and lunch are served is simply wonderful. The neighborhood itself is lively and enjoyable. Due to a delay with our flight, we arrived very late at night, but the shuttle dropped us off right in front of the entrance. Even though it was 3 a.m., the staff welcomed us with great kindness and big smiles. The entire team was extremely friendly and always willing to meet all our needs. Our only regret was staying for such a short time in this charming and beautiful hotel.

An amazing stay at Le Raid, everything was impeccable from the greeting and service to the room and on site restaurant. Gorgeous rooms and the shower we had was amazing, like none I’ve ever had before. The only disappointment was we wanted to eat at the rooftop restaurant but a reservation was needed, however staff addressed it by letting us order the same menu from lounge downstairs, food was amazing. When we left, early I the morning, hotel made us breakfast boxes to go and Sabry saw us off with ultimate courtesy and ease, really appreciated him in our departure. You will not regret staying at Le Raid, they are the gold standard for 5 start accommodation and service.

Very chic hotel. The room was exactly the same as it shows on the website, plus it is actually very clean and smells so good once you enter the property. They paid good attention to details, and everything is impeccable from bed linens, bathroom amenities and decorations. Inside the rooms it is very quiet, even though music is blasting from the parties outside. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It feels great to return to such a nice place after overwhelming day out in the Souk. Their rooftop restaurant has lots of delicious choices at very reasonable prices. Don't forget to visit their little balcony on the first floor.

Beautiful and charming hotel situated in the heart of old Cairo. Rooms / suites are lovely and well equipped. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious food and is extremely popular so you do need to book. Our stay was complete when after dinner one night, we were entertained with Sufi music and dancing, mesmerising! The streets around this hotel are bustling so it is noisy at night and may not suit everyone but we loved it and would 100% return. Thank you to everyone for a fabulous stay in a wonderful location.
