Ulasan Island Hostel Budapest

Terrace is awesome, staff friendly. Vacak the cat is awesome too. This hostel is a great option to spend some time on the island, had a good night sleep and it was clean. Often though staff can be missing from the reception during the stated reception hours, and nearby is more of a party scene with few quality dining options. The 400ft Costa coffee capsules aren't exactly good either, so there is some space for improvement compared to some of the newer hostels in town.

旅館位於瑪格麗特島（Margit-sziget）上，有巴士可以抵達，接待櫃檯在二樓，設有共享廚房，還有室外的平台，可以看河景👍

리뷰에 한 고객이 부킹사고가 있다고 해서 긴장 했는데 , 참 좋았어요. 하루 잠시 쉬었다 가기엔 멋진 뷰와 투숙객 및 직원들 다 좋았고, 시설 또한 가격대비 좋았습니다. 특히 공원 한가운데 있어서 산책하기 좋았습니다. 다소 편의점이 없는점이 아쉬웠지만 리셉션에서 약간의 스낵을 살 수있었습니다. 강력추천합니다.

Amazing!! I didn't know this place could exist. It's central, but quiet. And you can take a walk on the island to wind off .. the trees, the air, the whole atmosphere is just perfect. I took a double room. It's quite hot in the city but air is fresh on the island. Bed was comedy, wifi good, kitchen well equipped. And there are hammocks on the terrace. Edit (the manager) is super cool and can help you with various topics. If you are into bars, that's easy to find as well, there are many around the hostel. Of course there is one bar/restaurant right below the door, called stég. Cant wait to be back!!

Island hostel Budapest is surrounded by lovely green parks. The terrace of hostel is lovely place to sit and listen to spring birds singing. Hostel is clean and comfy beds, good security and helpful staff. You have to walk 10 minutes to get a tram.

If you enjoy being in the city but prefer nature to buildings and traffic noise, this is the place to be. No cars on the island, this little gem of a place welcomed me with the scent of flowers and a magnificent view of the Danube from the spacious porch at the back. I booked the single room and had a restful time. Clean and quiet, the staff are friendly and hospitable. They even helped me with my suitcase up the stairs. Easily accessible by public transport or electric taxi, I feel fortunate to have found such a cozy home in the bustling city of Budapest. I will be a regular for sure. :)

I accidentally discovered this hostel because it was good for me due to its location, so I booked it with no expectations. Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was discovering its advantages day by day when I was staying there. From the very beginning I felt welcomed by friendly people working there who kept helping me by giving useful tips about Budapest and everything I needed during the week of my stay. The hostel is conveniently located in a very lovely island with a little zoo and forest just around the corner. If you take a walk, there are plenty of things to see without leaving the island. My favorite part of the hostel was a huge terrace where you can chill during the day and the way how sofas are placed is making it a great common area for the guests to get together and hangout. The lockers are really big and beds are very comfortable to sleep on. Totally recommend 👍

Very nice hostel in a beautiful and green part of the city with great surroundings - perfect for walking, jogging, cycling and great spot to reach any place in the city center quickly. The staff in the hostel is also super friendly and the receptionist (Edith) was always very helpful and actually helped me a lot with my reservation. The place is also bicycle friendly so you can park your bike there. I felt very welcomed here and relaxed especially when sitting on the terrace. Thank you guys a lot for a lovely stay, I will definitely come back 🙂👍.

Great hostel, friendly atmosphere, mostly clean with a weird toilet smell though. Nice outdoors to chill around. I enjoyed pretty much my stay.

This hostel is truly an incredible place, perfectly situated on Margaret Island. The surrounding environment is absolutely ideal for relaxation, offering a peaceful. Yet, despite feeling like a serene oasis, it's still incredibly convenient for exploring Budapest city center, which is easily accessible. What truly made my stay even better was the staff – they were all incredibly communicative and friendly, always ready to help with a smile.

Very nice staff, good atmosphere, and an exciting view of the river. The rooms are okay, and the beds are clean. The kitchen is well-equipped—for working, relaxing, cooking—almost everything. Ideal for young people or anyone who feels young at heart

Beautiful sight from the kitchen and from the terrace also: the beautiful Duna river and trees. Friendly atmosphere and kindly recepcion. I felt that its a very positive place where I can chill and relax.✅️
