Location was perfect, but the annoying part is that having to carry your luggage a few levels up with no lift and a narrow stairs. Staff friendly I had to wait little while to be able to check in as only one employee was working.

Booked twice now with Safestay and they have been excellent. Nice easy check in no matter what time, both the hotel and hostel rooms are a perfect as a base camp. The hostel and hotel rooms use the same comfortable beds with USB/plug sockets and a reading lamp. The bathroom facilities have been clean and have a good pressure shower. The location is no more than a 5min walk from the centre square and is located only 20min from Midi station. If you’re doing Brussels on the cheap I would highly recommend!

フロントのスタッフの方が、柔軟に対応してくださり、とても助かった。 こちらの拙い英語でも意図を汲み取り、問題を確実に解決できるようにしてくれた。 人の話し声が気になる人もいると思う。また、設備は新しくないので床は歩くと音が鳴り、ドアが薄いので廊下の方が部屋に響きます。そのあたりを許容できるのであれば、特に困ったことはありません。

到了才發現這是個青年旅社,不是hotel酒店！！!各位定時一定看清楚！！！封面圖不是這個旅社,別被誤導了！！！旅店位置出行是很方便,我們3人間是個高低床加一個單人床,但房間不僅有味道而且超級小,也沒空調！床品也不乾淨。我們到了後重新定了其他酒店,總之不建議入住!

위치 개좋아요 ~ 그랑플라자에서 5분거리도 안돼요 그리고 개인 침**자 커튼이 있어서 좋습니다. 그런데 트립닷컴에서 선결제했는데 안됐다고 박박 우기 길 래 트립닷컴 고객센터에 전화하고 난리더 아니었네용 잘 해결됐으니 그거 빼곤 괜찮습니다 수건 안줘요

위치는 완전 좋고 침**다 커튼이 있는 거도 좋아요! 근데 방음이 너무 안 되는 거 같아요ㅠㅠ 윗층에서 걸어다니는 소리까지 다 들릴 정도입니다… 그리고 수건도 안주길래 가서 물어보니까 손님이 많아서 줄 수건이 없다규 하더라고요… 수건 못 구할 수 있으니 참고해주세요

위치는 정말 최고였던 도미토리! 내부는 약간 시골 학교의 기숙사 이용하는 듯한 느낌... 그래도 위치가 중심가랑 가까워서 좋았습니다!

位置很好，也有電梯就是有點少，毛巾淋浴露風筒都有包，就是燈光挺暗的。牀架挺舊，因為是鐵的所以發出不少聲音，這個價錢也沒有甚麼好期待的。 第一次房間有水從天花板滴下來，跟櫃檯説了立即幫我們換了一間，這點挺讃

When we arrived we checked in and they told us to download an app which would have our key to the room on it. When we went up to the room the app didn’t work and the door didn’t open. It did this a few times which was a bit inconvenient. The room was lovely and clean. The beds were comfy and had curtains for privacy! The toilet was in the room and was clean. We had a situation where we needed to change rooms and the receptionist was very helpful and gave us a new room which was much better! The location was great as it was right in the middle of everything and was a short walk away from shops and the main attractions. The only issue was there was no kitchen. This was really disappointing as it would have made this hostel perfect. There was a breakfast room but you needed to pay extra for breakfast. Overall, I would recommend this hostel to other travellers!

Burglary, ransacked room and no sign of forced entry: I stayed in the hostel for 7 nights last week. After just 2 nights, returning in the evening I find the room trashed, clothes strewn on the floor, lockers open. Checking the suitcases, my roommates and I realise that several MacBooks and high-value Apple devices are missing. I immediately go to the reception desk to report the theft, but the staff is hesitant and slow to comply with our requests. The next day, I decide to file a police report. Talking to the manager, we realise that our room was not framed by the video surveillance cameras. Added to this was the malfunctioning of the automatic closing and opening mechanism of the doors, as not all of them closed properly and some could also be opened via Bluetooth by other guests through apps, thus not guaranteeing the security due to the guests. Very negative experience, do not be fooled by the location and the seemingly advantageous price, the facility is in fact poorly managed and theft is the order of the day. The behaviour and attitude of the hostel staff suggest that such thefts are accepted and not pursued by the hostel or that even the staff themselves are somehow involved.

I booked a last-minute trip to Brussels while visiting London. This was the cheapest centrally located option for a short stay with okay reviews. I think the property is part hotel and part hostel. I booked a 10-bed mixed dorm for two nights and paid about $100 USD total. A bit pricey, but I did book the day before I arrived in Brussels. From Brussels Midi station, hope on the local train and get to the hostel in 15 minutes. You can also walk it in 30 minutes if you don’t have much luggage. Again, location is probably the best thing about this place. Just steps away from the main square, dining, delirium village, and some souvenir shops. The local train is an 8-minute walk. Brussels isn’t that big to begin with, but its nice to step out and find a few food spots less than a five-minute walk. Check-in was fast. You need to download an app to unlock your room. This is the first time I’ve seen a hostel with this level of sophistication. I learned they also have a key card option if needed (one girl lost her phone and had to use this). The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty and one evening the power went out and no Wi-Fi connection at all. It was tiring waiting for the only person working in the hostel (front desk guy) to try and figure out the circuit breakers. The staff is a hit or miss. The one woman with glasses and dark hair mentioned I only needed to get to Brussels Midi a half hour before takeoff and it would be fine. I followed that advice and was told I was too late and would have to rebook my train. Probably should have looked that info up and not depend on local hostel staff to steer me right. I asked to use a charger as I waited for a friend in the lobby, and she tried to sell me one. Eventually offering to let me use it since it was just for 10 minutes. Didn’t like the way they sort of nickel and dime you like that. If you want to store your luggage (generally free at any hostels I’ve stayed at around the world), they charge you for this. It also didn’t seem like it was in a secure place, and anyone could request a bag to pick up. You can rent a towel at an extra cost too. They sell basic items like toiletries, chargers, flip flops, and sunscreen at a premium. The room was clean and decent in size. It never felt cramped despite it being a 10 bed room. Seemed like most people were asleep early as many come to Brussels for short stays and want a place to sleep. If the window is open, you can hear people outside at night. Each bed has a curtain you can pull across for privacy. They have a wall of lockers in the room too. These can fit maybe a backpack, but not a roller bag. Bring your own lock for these. There is also a small lamp and plug to charge things by the bed. The room had an attached shower and toilet to share. There was also another shower and separate toilet in the hallway. I noticed there was no lock on this one, so I stuck to the one attached to our room for showers. There is no shower gel and I think the hand soap was out. So bring yo
