"Dissapointing! Overpriced for what it is, the place is dull and lacks atmosphere, they have tried to.put a quart into a pint pot. The tiny reception rooms lack style and the restaurant is like a cafe, we had no wish to eat dinner there. Breakfast was ok, tinned peaches and pineapple in the fruit salad served in 2 chipped bowls! The bedroom was very small overlooking a roof, tasteful but no mirror for use when drying hair. Not at all what we expected."

"I personally experienced this incredibly shady place. The smoke alarm went off, and the unreasonable landlord falsely accused the guest of smoking or using the range hood. After checking that they hadn't, they asked if they had showered or used a hair dryer. If they had, it was still their fault and they charged them a fine. Fellow travelers, be sure to avoid this shady place! Avoid it!"

"I took part in GoAndWrite's writer's retreat and we had the entire property for our exclusive use. Abbots Grange is a stunning property, so well cared for and we heard so much history from the current owners who spent time with us one day. The breakfasts were incredible, and days spent writing in the great room with that roaring fire and soaring ceilings was some of the most productive writing time I've had! My room in the carriage house was so comfortable. Being able to walk the path out back and be right in Broadway was another highlight of this property. I can't say enough about how special this trip was. I hope to come back soon!"

Clean and comfortable, it's highly recommended to stay here when visiting the Cotswolds, often called "England's most beautiful countryside," as it offers convenient access to the surrounding area. Waking up in the early morning, the town is still asleep. Rooftops, trees, and grass are covered in frost, creating a misty, crisp atmosphere… A local's greeting of "Morning" as you pass by truly makes you feel like a local."
