The air system runs all the time but is not very good as it's loud, and the air in the room is wet and smelly. There is mould in the room. The beds could use a proper mattress, and still stay authentic. The room could be dusted and clean and still authentic. There could be a little retro sink in the room so people can take water in the bathroom and wash their face and teeth in the room. Would be nice and still authentic for the room. If one pays over £50 a night for which you can get better quality accommodation even in the centre of London, one can expect basic hygienic standards to be kept!"

We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine in our room and a thoughtful thank-you note at checkout, along with complimentary water bottles. The accommodation included car parking, so there was no extra charge. Although we didn’t get to try the breakfast due to an early checkout, our overall stay was wonderful. Charles Bridge is just a 15-20 minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Prague."

"Maximus Hotel & Wellness – Is This 4-Star Service? I was genuinely excited to experience your couple’s package – a night’s stay and a 3-hour wellness session. As a first-time guest, I expected a seamless, rejuvenating experience. Sadly, I left disappointed – not by the facilities, but by the lack of consideration in your guest service. Lost in Wellness Centre We weren't allowed to see the wellness centre before using our 3-hour slot. The place is huge – but without a tour or orientation, we wasted precious time figuring it out ourselves. We didn’t get to enjoy all the facilities, and our time ran out. This is avoidable and unfair. Inflexible Timing, Despite Being Hotel Guests We asked to split our wellness time so we could enjoy it at our leisure – we were, after all, staying at the hotel. But no flexibility was offered. Since we couldn’t commit to the unlimited package, we were stuck. This rigid policy makes little sense, especially for hotel guests unfamiliar with the wellness centre. Breakfast Confusion Reception told us breakfast ran till 10:30. We arrived at 10:00 – but it had already ended. Apparently, the receptionist got the timing wrong because it was a public holiday. The restaurant manager let me grab a rushed coffee and bite – appreciated, but awkward with him checking on me as food was cleared away. This is not what I expected from a 4-star rated hotel. First-time guests deserve better orientation, more flexible use of facilities, and accurate information from staff. Please do better – the experience has potential, but the service must match the promise."

"The apartment is very close to the bus terminal and most of the tourist attractions. It also has a lift, which is very handy, and the room is spacious and clean. The only disappointing aspect was that it was difficult to get hold of anyone quickly when we had an issue. If the management improves its customer service, the apartment would be like a five-star hotel! I will definitely be coming back."

"I do not recommend this place. No air conditioning. We arrived with a child around 9:30 pm after a long journey and discovered our room was on the 5th floor with no elevator – a nightmare. We walked into the room and it was stifling and humid, almost like a sauna. The little fans in the rooms are a joke – they just recirculate the same hot air. I had to prop the windows open with cardboard because on the 5th floor they are casement-style (they swing) and you can’t keep them in an open position. On the lower floors the windows are normal. The rooms are large and clean, but that doesn’t matter given these problems. I don’t know anyone who would happily drag suitcases and bags up to the 5th floor after a 7-hour trip from Tuscany…… pure misery. It cooled down to 18°C at night so we managed to survive. The mattresses are comfortable. Still, I would never come back here. I should add that the girls at reception are very nice and always smiling. And the parking a front of hotel was impossible…. Drama!"

"This was one of the best hotels visits ever. The environment, the service, the natural smile from the staff – everything added up to a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was incredible and it is very hard to think of anything that will improve it. Everything was nice and clean and everything worked. It was like the staff enjoyed their work and enjoyed giving you a good time in a relaxed manner. I can strongly recommend this hotel and if my wife and I ever are going to Brno again, we will prioritize to stay there again."

"Worst apparment I have booked in years. Poor communication, hard to find, yet very central. Does not look like in the pictures: everything is a little off like broken toilet seat and shower holder. No hand towels. Bedsheets are too narrow so they keep coming off all night. In summer, it's hot in the apartment and keeping the window open means a lot of noise from the pedestrian streets. Only one key! This place has nothing to do with "luxury" (as they call themselves Luxury Apartment). Basically it was clean, but poorly maintained. Parking they offer is very shady and expensive. AVOID!!"

I still don't understand what's the problem to supply a simple bottle for a ill guest."
