Stayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again.

My children wanted to have chocolate on Easter morning.My kids really wanted it, so I asked a male room cleaner for an Easter rabit chocolate, but I don't know the name. After wait a few minutes and then he got me one. he was so kind and thankful, but I couldn't tip him because i didn't have the cash. Please pass this massage on to him. Thank you very much.

Secara umum kamar bersih, tetapi ada noda yang terlihat di toilet itu sendiri, tepat di bawah dudukan. Tampaknya toilet tidak dibersihkan dengan benar sebelum check-in, yang agak mengecewakan. Semoga hotel dapat lebih memperhatikan kebersihan kamar mandi.

When I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe. The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort. As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne. When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time. Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!

It’s rare to find a hotel this close to the station and city center at such a low price. The room was basic but clean, and included breakfast, which made it an even better deal. 🛏️ Room Tips Rooms facing the street or train station might get a bit noisy, so I recommend asking for a quiet room facing the courtyard if you’re a light sleeper.

Kamarnya lebih kecil tapi tempat tidurnya bersih, rapi, higienis, dan tenang. Satu-satunya hal adalah tidak ada kopi dan ketel di kamar. Lobi Shadian besar dan lengkap. Namun agak sulit bagi orang tua untuk membawa barang bawaannya ke atas.

Great stay! Clean, cozy room with comfy beds. Friendly staff, quick check-in/out. Perfect location—close to shops and transit. Breakfast had good variety. Will definitely come back!
