The hotel was quite nice, the location was good and it is close to the shopping mall and other amenities. The breakfast buffet is very small, and there are not a lot of options available. The room we stayed in was a bit dirty and the floors were quite dusty. F

Well located small, cosy and tastefully furnished hotel - within walking distance to the new Nivy shopping centre, the Danube riverfront and the historic centre. The rooms facing the courtyard bring absolute tranquility and at the same time the experience of a typical and authentic Bratislava courtyard. The spacious room has everything you need, even several pillows to choose from, and a perfectly stocked minibar. Our room even had a large terrace. In the morning we took a swim in the pool. Excellent breakfast and a friendly and smart lady at the reception. This hotel is definitely one of the best in its category in Bratislava.

Having fully renovated the rooms means NOTHING if you don’t think things through. Our experience was bad, but just because the management didn’t clearly make sure that everything was working as it should be in a 120€ a night hotel which offers “executive rooms”. Upon check in, our room was cold and we couldn’t turn on the heating, even though on the istructions provided on how to manage it looked so easy. It wasn’t. At some point someone at reception activated it… but all the way up! The room was SO warm at night we had to call reception at 1AM to ask to solve the issue or be moved in another room, which eventually happened. As compensation we were offered a bottle of prosecco which was given to us… room temperature and upon checkout (two mornings after), when we had to go at the airport! Where were we supposed to drink it??? Anyway, Those newly renovated rooms are ANYTHING but soundproof as unfortunately we could hear voices in the corridor in the morning and from another room next to us. The design of the bathroom/shower is poor as the spash screen is too small and water spills out on the floor. Also there are no wall plugs right by the bed which is also absurd. You need to get out the bed to use one. The breakfast is ok but poor considering the quality this hotel presents itself to be. Therefore, £100/€120 a night for a room feels WAY overpriced (and remember it’s still 20 mins walking from town center). To the readers, I’m not saying “avoid at all costs”… but consider my honest review in your choice.

Where do I start! I have had the best weekend at this hotel! The staff were amazing The rooms were so cosy and comfortable. 5* cleaniless! Honestly couldn’t fault the hotel at all! And the food In the restaurant was a dream. Anybody travelling to Bratislava this place is a must.

The room is very tiny, but its really stylish and very cosy. I really love the design of the room and bathroom too. It was very clean. And I looooved that you could pick from 3 different variations of pillows. Actually the whole hotel has pretty great design and "coming home" feeling. Haven seen hotels pool and sauna but its definitely big plus point. The location isn't perfect, but its quite ok, by walk 15-20min you can reach pretty much everything important. And now to the things I didn't like - I must say staff - from four and half star hotel I would really expect more. Girl who was working at night shift was sweet and helpful, but young man who was there the rest of my stay behaved almost pissed that I came to their hotel, wasn't very helpful, never smiled...I was very shocked. I know that not every day is a good day, but if you work with people in almost 5 star hotel, you just need to have certain way of behaviour. The internet didn't work at all, which I think its absolutely inadmissible in 4 and half star hotel. The IC didn't work either, the switcher was broken. The worst of all was that the main door to the room is paper thin and you can hear people breath on the hall or even in the next room. When I stayed there some other guest had party on the hall and later on in their rooms until 4am and its was absolutely NOT OK for such an exclusive hotel! So even there was nice bed, mattress, bed sheets....the sleeping quality was almost zero! I would highly recommend to change the main doors to the room to a soundproof ones.

So happy with our stay! We had a girls trip for a weekend: hotel was very cosy, clean and comfy, staff friendly and helpfull, location great (10min walk to the centre). For us the highlight was wellnes included in the price (sauna, pool, fitness) and really excellent restaurant (Japanees cousine, superb quality, good price). We were really happy with our stay!

Location of hotel is very nice. It takes 20 min of walk to the old town. City block is quite and peaceful. Room with double bed was comfortable, cosy and calm. Breakfast was rich in offer and taste but eggs were not so good prepared as we expected (we ordered scramled eggs and soft boiled eggs). Hotel has very nice gym but pool is modest. Other minus goes for lack of light in doorways of our room on second floor. Also, hotel offers very few car parking spaces.

I do t know how to describe the whole experience… When we first arrived was already too dark and cold. We found the hotel like the movies, like a place in the middle of nowhere and when we entered inside everything was warm and smelled cinnamon…❤️ The staff was really typical, quick and professional! Sweat Slovakian people… The room was a standard room, but that means nothing because, it was like we were staying in a presidential suite! I want to explain you that the room was extremely comfortable, clean and warm… The breakfast has got limited options, but it’s delicious and really healthy! The spa & the gym was cool! A huge place to relax, despite the pool that was a normal size the place was suitable to relax and read your book! The whole staff was great and quick to the check in procedure! The location was fine but quite and only 1,5 km ( maybe less) from the center. If you bist Bratislava, have a look and join Mamas Design & Boutique Hotel! Dakujem!
