Aparthotel Adagio Access Bordeaux Rodesse

No information about late check ins. No information about check outs. Room was not what was sold in the pictures. Eventually Got the room we paid for but only for the last two nights of trip. Toilet was broken on arrival so I fixed it myself as I couldn’t contact anyone. Horrible smell in bathrooms. Showers were disgusting and such low pressure. New room was abit better but still not great. We paid for a room with full access to pool but the next day when searching for the pool we found out it was closed. This wasn’t written on the website or told to us before arriving. One of the main reasons for choosing this apartment was for the pool. The receptionist was pleasant enough but really couldn’t help. I asked for a full refund (for the remaining nights) and to leave the hotel immediately but the hotel refused as the manager wasn’t in… we had a complimentary breakfast but really wasn’t anything special. Beds were so uncomfortable that I woke up over and over again. Overall I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

More like student digs, very basic. No a/c at all, although fan is provided in room. Made it worse as we visited in hot period. Staff very pleasant and helpful Wouldn’t stay here again by choice.

Three stars is perhaps a little unfair, but four would be too generous. Our room was fine and clean, though was starting to show a little age. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette was well-equipped; there are three branches of Carrefour City within a five-minute walk. There was a little traffic noise from outside but it wasn't significant, and earplugs are provided. The bathroom, while spacious, had an odd half-bathtub that was slightly awkward and would be inaccessible for those with mobility issues. I can't say if that applies to all rooms. The hotel is a bit away from the main tourist areas but it's only 5 minutes to the tram stop at Palais de Justice and the surroundings are residential. Note that the reception is not 24-hour. It closes at 21:00 during the week (there is a code to unlock the front door) and at 16:00 on weekends. There's a contact number, but you may wish to plan accordingly.

The room was great, only real downside was no air conditioning (we were there during a heat wave) but there was a fan provided so that gave some comfort. Room was spacious enough and clean. Location is good, close to a grocery store and a couple cafes. Public transportation is about a 7-10 minute walk away for tram stops.

This property is in need of renovation. The pictures on the website only show the nicest room. My original room had discoloured and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and the furniture and doors showed splitting seems, chipped paint, and deep gouges. The plumbing was exposed in the bathroom and the tup was half sized and claustrophobic. When I complained, the front day front desk manager just argued with me and told me to find another hotel rather than giving me a room with a full tub saying that was for 4 people. I found their tone and attitude aggressive. Other staff were quite lovely and did their best to make things right. I was eventually moved to a room with a full bath, nicer, but still run down. My loyalty program didn't help at all leaving everything up to the manager, but they were quite nice about the situation. I was also asked to take out my own trash and wash my own dish...this policy meant that I had dirty dishes in the first room and crumbs in the silverware tray.

If you have to use wifi for business, probably not the place for you. I was lucky because I had my phone to use the hotspot since I had to host a zoom meeting while traveling and I doubt the wifi would have been adequate. I do want to give the Adagio extra points for environmental reasons… No little plastic bottle of shampoo or plastic wrap soap everything refillable. Large room, small dining table good for work or two people to eat at, adequate pans and utensils, although the coffee pot barely worked). Fortunately I had my own kettle too). Comfortable bed and black out curtains. I chose the location because of proximity to fine arts museum, which turned out to be a disappointment, and location wasn't great for other tourist sights.

Nice place, located close to the city center in safe neighborhood. Didn't use the pool, but it's a nice touch. The staff was friendly and informative with special instructions for a late check in.

Chambre vraiment datée avec crépi aux murs, salle de bain qui doit avoir une bonne vingtaine d'année, avec très peu de rangements pour les affaires de toilettes, trousses et autres. Peu de prises et surtout certaines étaient même en train de s'arracher du mur... Pression d'eau médiocre... Attention aussi Hôtel non climatisé!! sans moustiquaires aux fenêtres (la vraie mauvaise surprise durant l'épisode de canicule...). Au même prix quasiment qu'un IBIS classique où là les chambres sont actuelles avec les standards d'aujourd'hui. Point positif: - personnel à l'écoute et sympathique - petit déjeuner extrêmement cher certes mais bon. Nous ne renouvellerons pas l'expérience dans cette chaîne.

Hôtel bien situé, les personnes qui s'occupent de la réception sont sympathiques et réactives. Cependant la propreté laisse à désirer, poils dans la douche et parterre dans la salle de bain, odeur désagréable dans la chambre, poussières dans chaque recoin et comble de bonheur découverte d'un cafard dans la salle de bain....La plupart des hôtels y compris celui-ci étant complet sur Bordeaux à ce moment-là on me propose un grand ménage dès le lendemain matin, j'apprécie le geste. Le ménage a été fait comme avant mon arrivée c'est-à-dire passablement...je ne recommande pas cet hôtel, il y a un sérieux effort à faire au niveau de la propreté et des cafards...
