My experience wasn’t the best.
First, I’ve booked a queen size room. I checked in I went to the room and someone else was staying in that exact same room I got a new card for a new room that key card didn’t work. I went back to reception they said there’s a problem and maintenance is trying to fix it. They said there’s no rooms available. I can only get twin beds so I told him I paid for a queen size room. They need to make a plan.. eventually after while they came back to me gave me a room card went to the room and they literally just pushed the two beds together took out bedside table and we had to sleep like that. there was no kettle to make coffee and the room was smelly.

Firstly, I was put into a room that I did not book and was told I cannot change to a room that I had paid for because the hotel was overbooked. The front desk, eventually, moved me once I had pointed out that it was a health hazard to stay in the room they assigned to me because they had painted it that very day and I could still smell the paint fumes.
After being moved, I was put into a room that I actually paid for. The toilet leaked and the shower was blocked.
I will say though that the front desk was very friendly and tried to help as much as they could.
All in all, it was not a good experience and I won't be staying again.

The hotel was very convenient and very close to the airport .The room was a reasonable size for someone who is passing by .The highlight of my stay was the delicious,fresh breakfast that was served ,10/10 highly recommend .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Johannesburg Airport and I must say, the experience was very good. One of the standout features of this hotel is its shuttle service. It was extremely convenient, providing hassle-free transportation to and from the airport, which is a major plus for any traveler.
The staff at the hotel deserve a special mention. They were not only professional but also exceptionally helpful and friendly. Whether it was assistance with luggage, or general inquiries, they were always ready to assist with a smile.
Another highlight was the buffet breakfast. It offered a wide variety of options, all delicious and well-prepared. From fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes, the quality of the food was impressive, and it was a fantastic way to start the day.
Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Johannesburg Airport was delightful. The combination of the convenient location, excellent service, and great amenities like the buffet breakfast make it a hotel I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Johannesburg. Whether you're on business or leisure, this hotel is a great choice for a comfortable and worry-free stay.

The location is convenient and very close to malls and the airport. There is a shuttle bus that runs every 30 mins to the airport. You don’t need to get an Uber or taxi. The food was delicious. The room was cozy but did not have robes

Good hotel decent breakfast and clean rooms. Good for a couple of days if you are going in a business trip. Close to airport and hotel iffers shuttle service to airport for no additional cost. Super market and a big mall in the vicinity at walkable distance that house many eateries.

The hotel was amazing. The staff at the front desk was friendly. When we arrived at the airport we waited over an hour for a shuttle that was supposed to have arrived at 12:00. When the shuttle finally came the driver didn't apologize nor bother to explain why was the shuttle late. Besides that everything else was fine. I just wish the rooms would have robes and slippers. I will definitely visit the hotel again.

Front desk staff were lovely and checked us in quickly! They have a free shuttle to the airport which leaves every 30 minutes which we used. God experience for a short stay at the airport hotel.
