Amazing customer service from Christina allowing an early check in. Room clean and tidy and bottles of still/sparkling water in the fridge. Was slightly loud banging doors about 1-3am from late revellers but nothing too bad. Breakfast delicious- fresh homemade waffle and omelettes Drink prices very reasonable priced

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Birmingham, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. This hotel is a true gem in the heart of the city, and I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone visiting Birmingham. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk team went out of their way to make me feel at home. I was thrilled to be upgraded to a deluxe room with a stunning view of Birmingham’s skyline, which added a special touch to my stay. The room itself was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept like a dream every night! I loved the little touches, like the Nespresso machine, high-speed Wi-Fi, and the sleek bathroom with a powerful rain shower and luxurious toiletries. Everything felt well thought-out, making my stay both relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch. The on-site restaurant was a highlight, offering a fantastic breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options, from fresh pastries and fruit to full English breakfast items. I also enjoyed a delicious dinner there one evening – the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable. The bar area was a great spot to unwind with a cocktail after a day of exploring the city. The location of the Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham is unbeatable, especially if you want to be in the heart of the action. It’s just a short walk from major attractions like the Bullring Shopping Centre, Birmingham New Street Station, and the vibrant Brindleyplace area, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I also appreciated how easy it was to get around the city, with excellent transport links nearby. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was professional, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. When I needed recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, the concierge provided brilliant suggestions. Overall, my stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Whether you’re in Birmingham for a weekend getaway, a business trip, or a special occasion, this hotel is the perfect choice. The hotel is in a good location, in the city center. It is a good hotel for attending conferences and the price is affordable. I will book this hotel again for the next Birmingham exhibition. It is convenient for travel.

Everything is nice with loads of services. One minor thing is that the bathroom is the old kind of separate taps but that doesn’t bother a lot.

I would stay here again! I loved the location of the hotel. It is right inbetween the city center (New Street Station & Bullring) and the beautiful Brindley Place are by the old canal. The room itself was clean and looked mostly like it was in the picture, I also had a pretty cool view onto the old canal from the 15th floor. The carpet and the couch looked a bit ”worn down”, but it was clean nonetheless. The staff was friendly, nice and very helpful. It was nice that the breakfast was included and there was a good choice of breakfast options. I can 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Birmingham. I had a nice time and didn't miss anything while staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

I booked the hotel on Trip.com. The earliest check in time was 3pm. Check in was easy. I asked for a room on a certain floor and not too close to the elevator and got exactly what I wanted. Staff was friendly and professional. The room was nice & clean, with all necessary amenities included. The location is excellent. Its a short walk (under 9 mins) to Birmingham New Street station also known as Grand Central. Hotel is also very close to Bullring Mall. Shops, restaurants & banks are all within easy access to the hotel. I did not eat any meals in the hotel. Ate out at different restaurants. The hotel amenities are good and well stocked. King size room amenities: kettle, tea coffee milk, safe, mini fridge, ironing board, iron, hair dryer and toiletries. The shower does not have a glass door, instead it had a shower curtain which was torn on the top. The windows are not double glazed. It rained heavy. The sound of strong winds & rain hitting on to the windows was too loud. Double glazed windows would have solved that issue. The fire alarm went off on Friday morning 3 or 4 times in a row. I tried calling reception a few times but the line was engaged. The hotel should have informed all guests about the fire alarm but they failed to do so. I had to ask one of the cleaners about the alarm. She told me it was nothing to worry about. In general, I would gladly recommend this hotel to others due to location, cleanliness and comfort.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean but had dust in certain parts of the lighting and table. The bathroom didn’t smell to good when we got there. There wasn’t much soap to wash your hands. Unfortunately at night time the people next door were loud and at times the door was shutting it would wake you up. The tv remote wasn’t working properly.

The location was in a prime spot. Next to all the main shopping and Christmas market areas. The room was modern, spacious, and very clean. The kitchenette was well equipped for self-catering if required. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Although no parking on site, they have a deal with the nearby car park for £5 for 24 hours. The car park was safe and secure, and it was located a few minutes away. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. It's definitely a consideration for future trips.

Please do get the lifts fixed asap - appreciate not fully within ones control but was a bit of a challenge having 2 out of 4 lifts not working; especially as a hotel that is not situated on the ground floor of the building.

The check-in was easy & efficient, as it took few minutes. Location was walkable to Birmingham New Street Station. It was in quiet location just opposite to Snow Hill One & Two. Price was very reasonable. As usual, room was clean & tidy. Free breakfast was good, but bit busy. I lost my right earbud airpod on bed. I called & recovered it the same day. Great service!
