Amazing location in the heart of Birmingham, a few steps from train station, friendly staff and the restaurant is excellent!

What a gem! Literally direct opposite one of the rear entrances of the grand New Street Station, up the stairs/lift into a little arcade of shops (nail bar/hair salon and luxury watches) and the hotel entrance. The check in lobby is nothing much impressive but the overall building and decor with high ceilings, big staircases and marble surfaces are albeit a bit outdated in tone, still much preferable to us. The room is very spacious and the bathroom with Elemis supplied soap walk-shower and self-standing bathtub is the biggest we’ve ever been into. The hotel bar, restaurant and breakfast area are located on the first floor looking over the New Street pedestrian shopping street and the staff are very good. Stayed here few times and it’s always decent hotel Never had any issues even with late check in.

Great service. Arrived with Baby, and they really were very helpful. Supplied cot, hot water for baby food in the cafe and a heater as room was a little cold.

Service was great, very helpful reception staff. Room was lovely although you need to have plug sockets next to the bed.

Best hotel if u stay in Birmingham. Definitely my first choice if I come again! Staff are nice friendly helpful Rooms are clean and spacious with practically refurbished fixtures and utilities Location is prime and with NO clubbing music or overwhelming noises that disturbs ur rest which was what concerned us when we wanted to choose a very convenient location near the New Street Station

Just opposite New street station. Nice room on the Forth floor. The drafty windows let the room down. Didn’t get much sleep I could hear lots of noise from outside. Cold dining room , meal was ok, didn’t have breakfast.

Great stay and an ideal location for a trip to central Birmingham

Very close to the train station, very convenient location. The room is large and the facilities are quite complete. Highly recommended!

It's just 50 meters walk from Birmingham Station, but it's a bit hard to find. I walked around for a long time before I found it. The room is quite big, but the hotel is a little old.

A hotel with windows in an old building, but you have to think of it as not having any. The only good thing is that it is spacious? It is right in front of the train station? Nothing else. There is a delicious kebab place nearby, so I want to go there again.

The location is in the city center, next to the Apple store and opposite Tesco. Entering the store on the pedestrian street, don't bring too much luggage. You have to walk a few hundred meters to take a taxi. Facilities are old. The corridor was dark, and the hotel corridor had voice-activated lights. I walked into the long, dark, old corridor alone. The lights turned on and off one by one, and I stayed there for ten days! Because no unsubscription is allowed. The air conditioner in the room blows cold air, and the weather outside is 12°C! Ctrip customer service intervened and provided an electric heater. The experience is super bad! Yes, the elevator makes a loud noise and every time it stops it feels like a plane crash. Horrifying elevator. It’s only worth 200 a day, so I charged 1,300. Don't live there

Convenient transportation and complete facilities

The location is relatively convenient, opposite the new street station, the facilities are old, the corridor is long and there are voice-activated lights, it feels rather gloomy, the quilt covers don't feel freshly washed, and the service is quite satisfactory, as a hotel for a one-night transition
