No complaints - the hotel is walkable from the New Street Station and the room itself is expected from the crowne plaza chain. Spacious room and generous 2 double beds as standard. Only very minor complaint is that the buffet breakfast could have had a bit more choice with the hot food.

Found left a cable in my room after checkout. Ask a friend to help me to check at the reception. However just be told there is nothing left. Yes, “no” could save a lot of trouble compared with saying something else like let me check with the cleaner.

one 1 lift for over 14 floors means highly frustrating delays to get to your room (usually there are 3 lifts). For 200 gbp per night this is absolutely shocking. A disgrace.

Great location. Close to the megabus drop off. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Warm atmosphere in the hotel. Birmingham is my least fav city but the hotel made a difference to my experience there.

Furniture and carpets look tired ,TV has no hdmi too old.
Breakfast was outstanding

Rather close to the city centre with a car park underneath. Nice breakfast. Speedy check-in and cheerful staff both at the reception and the restaurant. All in all an enjoyable stay.

The air conditioner / heater and cold shower around 11.00 am made me very unwell. I caught a terrible cold and so would suggest these are looked into. Other than that, the stay was lovely. Lovely location, staff and stay. Thank you.

The hotel is a bit aged and is in need of upgrading. Chips on tiling and sink/bath enamel, marks and bumps on walls, loose fittings in bathroom. Comfortable bed and had a sound sleep. Wi-Fi was awful and could not plug in my firestick. No smart tv so wanted to watch Netflix and Disney but couldn’t as could not access back of tv and Wi-Fi was terrible. Also, sockets next to bed were underneath the floating bedside table so had to get down on my knees to plug in phone charger. Not the ideal positioning for sockets. Breakfast was ok. It got quite busy after 9am so best to get there earlier. Pastries were heated and fresh which was a bonus. Coffee machines weren’t great as coffee was very weak. Would prefer a percolator coffee but there was no table service for this part. Costa coffee made up for that afterwards! It was an ok stay.
