Excellent central location of the city of Bilbao. Walking distance to Metro station or bus stops. Close to many restaurants and generally safe. The bathtubs are small and it is very loud staying near an elevator. Staff was very pleasant.

My room was a good size and having my own balcony with outdoor seating and table was an unexpected extra. The reception staff were very helpful.
The location of the hotel was perfect for the Guggenheim and Museo de Bellas Artes.It was a more complicated walk to the old town, but worth it.
There is a taxi rank outside the hotel

Hotel is a little tired looking; certainly not the same standard as other 4* hotels in the area. Chipped tiles, worn furniture in the common areas make it look a bit sad. Service and food is good, location is OK. It's not bad value, just needs a little TLC.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly however a couple items bothered us during our stay.
The hotel implements an “environmental” policy which to me really just looks like a cost-saving measure. They limit the air conditioning to temperatures above 27C. This made our stay very uncomfortable as we were hot in the room. Also, the wifi is very slowly and almost not worth using.

Nice and tidy hotel. Around 200 metres from Indautxu metro station that also houses the Eroski convenience store.
If you opt for the room because of the balcony, please note that the view from the balcony is not especially interesting, and it lacks shadow during the afternoon, but otherwise wonderful to have.
Great breakfast options, although it seemed to be quite busy at any time. Good service all around.
