"This hotel is one star hotel, rooms are not good at all, they always try to push the worst room to you unless you demand better room they don’t give to you. They don’t have too many good rooms, some rooms are without windows , staff are rude . I would not recommend this hotel. The price compare to the room type is very expensive. I stayed here for total of 5 days coming with one of the big tour company. Breakfast is not as good as I was thinking. Do not recommend"

"⭐☆☆☆☆ As a solo female traveler, my concern was never about money. It was about safety. During my stay, another guest repeatedly attempted to access my room late at night upon returning to the property and again around 6:00 a.m. while leaving. This was not a single mistaken knock. The guest repeatedly manipulated and aggressively tried my door handle. In the morning alone, this occurred approximately five times. Being awakened by someone repeatedly attempting to enter your room is alarming under any circumstances, especially when traveling alone. When I raised these concerns, my focus was entirely on guest safety. I never requested a refund, compensation, or any financial consideration. My correspondence reflects that my concern was that I felt unsafe and was afraid to leave my room. What I found most disappointing was the property's response to my review. Rather than addressing the safety concerns I raised, the response publicly suggested that the other guest was merely knocking because I was playing music. This is categorically false. I was asleep in bed and no music was playing. The response also suggested that I wanted a refund, which is equally false. At no point did I request a refund. Reasonable people can disagree about the cause of an incident. What they cannot do is change the facts of what was reported. My review was based on my actual experience as a paying guest. I felt unsafe, I reported it, and instead of addressing those concerns, I was blamed for them and publicly accused of motives I never had. Future travelers, particularly solo travelers, can draw their own conclusions. I can only speak to my experience, and my experience was that my safety concerns were dismissed and then misrepresented after the fact."

Small note for light sleepers: ask for a room away from the street, as it can get a bit lively at night (but that's part of the charm of being in a great location!). The WiFi was also a bit spotty at times. Overall, fantastic value for money. Would definitely stay here again for a casual city break! Perfect for: Travelers who want a central spot without the fancy price tag."

"For a four star hotel, it left much to be desired. We couldn’t change the temperature of the AC, couldn’t reach the front desk or concierge on the phone, didn’t have any shower gel, shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom and didn’t have anyone helping us with bags. Besides the front desk checking us in quickly when we arrived, the central location and the beds being decently comfortable, there was nothing else about the experience that made it worth the money."

"In terms of design, this is a nice, beautiful hotel. Comfortable mattress, pillow menu, hair dryer, bathroom amenities... but!! The coffee machine in my room didn't work, complete lack of soundproofing. It felt like I was sleeping on the street among crowds of strolling youth (and the hotel is located right in the Casco Viejo quarter). The coat rack is located right above the kettle and coffee machine. So you have to boil the kettle so that the steam doesn't get on your coat...? Extremely dangerous cotton swabs. I came to the administrator at check-out and showed how you can accidentally pierce your eardrum with one movement. And the price for the night is not small at all. I have no desire to recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay and getting to know Bilbao. Alas"

"It's located in a residential area. But there's even a supermarket and bars nearby. Very affordable in the off-season. Among the features: the room on the second floor has a window in the ceiling. Plenty of outlets, but one had a pin sticking out!!! (That's really creepy.) There's an elevator to the second floor. There's also a kitchen. Overall, it's fine, even for a few days. You can sleep and work at the desk. In winter, the air conditioning works just fine. Check-in is by code."

"Check-in starts at 3pm, or earlier, for +10 euros. We arrived at 2:30pm, and tried to get in, but the access code didn't work. We called the owner, and they said we couldn't get in until 3pm. So we stood in front of the door for 30 minutes, at 37 degrees, after 12 hours of travel, while the room was free and the cleaning was done long before we arrive. The host's attitude is deplorable. Access to the location is difficult, we tried with Google Maps, but we didn't get where we needed to be, luckily with a gentleman who guided us. The room is absolutely minimal: a bed, a small fridge, a TV, a hanger rack. There is no table, no chair, no wardrobe. The windows are completely frosted. The bathroom is OK. Twice at night we discovered black cockroaches (which appear when there is moisture), in the bathroom and in the room. Avoid this property!!"
