TTamuIt's a nice hotel. Everything you need is there. Good city part around. But the devil was hidden in the details.
1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off).
2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV.
3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time.
And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT
3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?).
4) We get a fan to cool down.
5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective).
This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating.
P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea)
The toilet paper holder is positioned so that you hit it with your butt every time you sit down on the toilet, and when you sit down it rests on your chest

TTamuGood location, easy to get everywhere of interest just by walking. Staff were lovely, warm, friendly and helpful.
Good sized room and bathroom, but there was a massive pillar right in the middle of the room which was quite awkward. Had the room at the start of the corridor near the lifts so it was a bit noisy at times. No tea or coffee facilities in room, which feels like a bit of a basic. Went out for breakfast rather than use the hotel facilities as there's plenty of options about.
Only there for 2 nights so didn't seem worth kicking up a fuss about any stuff. OK for overnight but not a long stay from what I saw.

TTamuHotel was minutes away from Guggenheim Museum Bilbao which was our planned at Bilbao. There is hotel parking with a fee available during booking. The breakfast was good. The hotel and resturant staff were friendly and kind.
My room was modern and clean, it comes with a streets view. There is room available with the museum view too.

TTamuSaya pikir sauna sudah termasuk dalam paket menginap kami, itulah mengapa saya memesan hotel ini.
Ketika saya memberi tahu staf bahwa tidak ada biaya tambahan saat memesan secara online, mereka mengatakan bahwa sauna adalah bagian dari spa. Ini sangat membingungkan, seolah-olah sauna adalah bagian dari spa, mengapa disebutkan dan tidak dimasukkan di bagian spa?
Spa dan sauna berbeda, dan jika ada biaya, itu harus disebutkan.
Selain itu, semuanya luar biasa. Mereka juga tidak memiliki biaya terpisah untuk sauna saja! Saya hanya ingin menggunakan pusat kebugaran dan sauna, tetapi tidak ada spa! Tidak ada kemungkinan untuk memesan sauna tanpa spa.
Biayanya sekitar 20 euro per akses, bukan per hari, yang menurut saya terlalu mahal, terutama karena Anda sudah memesan kamar di hotel dan sudah membayar! Sekali lagi, staf tidak menunjukkan fleksibilitas, pilihannya adalah membayar sesuatu yang tidak akan digunakan atau Anda tidak akan mendapatkannya! Akhirnya saya tidak jadi memesan karena saya tidak ingin menggunakan spa, dan saya pikir itu terlalu mahal (20 euro) untuk penggunaan sauna selama 15 menit saja.

HHosanChoose the hotel for its proximity to the Intermodal bus interchange. We walked to all the main tourist attractions from the hotel. Bilbao is a very walkable city.
What sets this hotel apart is the friendliness of the staff. The front counter team is genuinely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Noemi who went out of her way to help us and gave advice on airline lost luggage.
The room is spacious for our needs. The king bed is super comfortable, with just the right firmness. Linen is plush and pillows are fluffy. It has a simple yet functional tea-making facility in the room. The room came with USB charger by bedside, which is essential for today's travellers.
We love the bathroom. Well-lit, full-size shower with strong water pressure. You will find the basic amenities (Toothbrush etc) in the bathroom.
The cleaner did a good job with the room. The hall and public areas are all spotless. Judging based on the interior, the hotel might have been refurbished not that long ago.

TTamuA True Gem That Feels Like a 4-Star Hotel! My stay at the Sercotel Arenal Bilbao was flawless. The hotel is absolutely spotless, with lovely decor and beautiful views from the room. The entire hotel, from the elegant lobby to my room, was spotless. It was clear that the housekeeping team takes immense pride in their work, ensuring a pristine and hygienic environment that immediately made me feel at ease. The reception staff provided excellent, warm service. The breakfast was perfect—not too big, not too small, but just the right selection for an amazing start to the day. The management is clearly doing a fantastic job. With this level of quality and attention to detail, this hotel truly operates like a four-star property. I can't wait to return.

TTamuHotel location is amazing. Terrace bar on level 7 with views of the Guggenheim was wonderful! Going up to the bar and getting some drinks and snacks was really lovely and the staff at the bar, reception and everywhere in the hotel were always friendly and helpful.
Really enjoyed the stay! Close to great restaurants and cafes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try your best to follow a more Spanish time for lunch and dinner to feel the atmosphere and the culture. Late lunch, late dinner, snacks in between such as pintxos and vermouth at different bars around the area.
