"We stayed at Parkhotel Bielefeld for a night going south through Germany. We keep choosing this hotel when traveling from Denmark. It is a quiet and nice hotel, perfect for a overnight stay. The rooms are large and quiet, so you wake up relaxed ready to continue your journey. There is a good restaurant at the hotel, so no need to elsewhere for dinner. The hotel itself has a nice and relaxing atmosphere, so it is easy to unwind when you get there. And last but not least - the staff is excellent and so service minded, you really feel welcome and they attribute to the cosy atmosphere - in many ways you feel that you are staying at a much smaller hotel, because the staff are so attentive and nice."

"This hotel is located about 10 minutes from the Bielefeld city center. It's in a suburban (a bit rundown) area. The hotel itself also has had it's best years. The reception desk looks a bit dated and the furniture in the room doesn't make it much better. It looked a bit early 80's style. Above the bed is a bright tube light which is a odd location. Only one of the bed cabinets has a reading light. The room itself was clean.. an old room doesn't have to be dirty if it's kept clean. However in this case the place looked so dated that I don't think I would come back here again. The hotel seems to be on a driving route for ambulances since that night a few times we heard them speeding by. There is only paid WIFI in this hotel and it has free parking."

"SCAM DON'T BOOK. I tried booking a room in this hotel. The confirmation, however, said it was for their sister hotel in a different city. I immediately called, got no answer. I then emailed. Two days later, I got a reply confirming that the booking was for their sister hotel (I knew that) and that it was nonrefundable at time of purchase. I can only assume that's part of their business strategy. There are plenty of other good hotels. Stay at one of those."
