"a break down on the flixtrain due to bad weather has left us stranded in Bielefeld. So the location was very good as it is directly beside the Bahnhof. Price got jacked up due to last minute booking, otherwise 89€ for a good night sleep is still worth it. Was very surprised that the room was newly built and furnished. Super clean and still smell of fresh paint. Bed was a bit too stiff but the duvet and pillow was perfect. Could provide a few more amenities, like toothbrush and such, but I guess its okay."

"The construction site in front was a bit annoying, but the €5 parking fee was reasonable. I booked breakfast separately, which was also wonderful, with good coffee. The friendly staff definitely deserves a mention. The young man (a student) who greeted us in the evening was truly very friendly and communicative. The hotel can only benefit from the young lady (a Brazilian) who looked after us in the mornings. We wish some German staff were like that. Best regards to both of them."

"This hotel is located about 10 minutes from the Bielefeld city center. It's in a suburban (a bit rundown) area. The hotel itself also has had it's best years. The reception desk looks a bit dated and the furniture in the room doesn't make it much better. It looked a bit early 80's style. Above the bed is a bright tube light which is a odd location. Only one of the bed cabinets has a reading light. The room itself was clean.. an old room doesn't have to be dirty if it's kept clean. However in this case the place looked so dated that I don't think I would come back here again. The hotel seems to be on a driving route for ambulances since that night a few times we heard them speeding by. There is only paid WIFI in this hotel and it has free parking."

The rooms are large and quiet, so you wake up relaxed ready to continue your journey. There is a good restaurant at the hotel, so no need to elsewhere for dinner. The hotel itself has a nice and relaxing atmosphere, so it is easy to unwind when you get there. And last but not least - the staff is excellent and so service minded, you really feel welcome and they attribute to the cosy atmosphere - in many ways you feel that you are staying at a much smaller hotel, because the staff are so attentive and nice."
