Ulasan Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Beppu Seifu

Very old hotel and too many crowded and noise. Staff at reception cannot speak English. Dinner and breakfast area has many queues, Elevators are too slow, cannot support for prime time (dinner / breakfast) and inside the room is very old and lots of dust. The window glass is very dirty too.

Very Comfortable place to stay. Nice indoor and outdoor onsen beautiful view from room.

We book the seaview corner room(611) with seperate ryokan living room. Onsen are great, bf and dinner are above average. 800meter walk from Beppu Station. Recommended.

Great location! Big spacious rooms Onsen was great - I only used the open air onsen Dinner and breakfast section was great. Rooms weren’t fully soundproof but luckily at night everyone was quiet - I wanted to take an afternoon nap but the hallways were loud and my neighbors had children.

Great selection of food for dinner and breakfast. No wifi provided in the room. My favourite is the onsen!

Magnificent hotel right in front of the sea, the view from the room almost makes you feel like you’re in a gigantic ship. It’s very spacious. There are plenty of kimonos to choose from and they’re all so pretty. The staff is very nice. The buffet is amazing, both breakfast and dinner. It was a wonderful experience and we remember it fondly. Location is also great, next to everything. Airport bus behind the hotel. There is an onsen within the building. There’s also a lovely souvenir shop downstairs, plenty of vending machines…

Everything is ok up to standards, just only if they have bed preparation service in Ryokan room type. Because with this price they should have. And also they don’t provide WiFi service in every room types, in present day every hotel should already provide free in room WiFi services and I think it is very important. The food dinner and breakfast is quite good, but dinner time is too short only 2 hours with that much of peoples. At least should be 3 hours dinner time

Hotel’s location is excellent! Within 10-min walk, you can visit a shopping mall and Donki to shop for souvenirs. The downside of the hotel is only lobby areas has been renovated with wifi available, and the room feels a bit dated and hope the hotel will refurbish the rooms some day.

Good - Nice location. Walkable from the station. Close to the tower and plus point is you can see the view of the bay from your room. Open air onsen has very nice view from the top of the annex building. Not so good - no wifi in room.

It's an 8-minute walk from Beppu Station. The hotel is right by the sea. It's really comfortable. The food is not bad. The downside is that the restaurant is like a big cafeteria. The bathing area is also very simple, one open-air and one indoor, divided into two different places

1 night - 2 x Japanese style room with sea view 10 tatami mats 🔅I like the hotel's location by the sea. It has a quiet environment and is very comfortable. It takes only 8 minutes to walk to the center of Beppu Station. 🔅Buffet breakfast & dinner, although not too many varieties, but overall very cost-effective, very satisfying. 🔅The traditional hot spring hotel is a bit old, but the room and environment are clean, but the lighting effect is dim. 🔅The hot spring area is open-air and indoor, located in two separate buildings, which is inconvenient. 🔅There are free bathrobes, many styles and colors, very beautiful, and full size.

The buffet for one night and two meals is good. Dinner has fish, meat and sashimi, which is worth the price. Breakfast has both Western and Japanese styles. The food will be replenished all the time, so you don't have to worry about it not being replenished. Hot spring bathing is also nice. Although there is no sauna or steam room, it is just a large bath. However, the seaside walkway and the ability to see the sea and wait for the sunrise when you wake up are a great holiday experience.

The food was delicious and the view from the open-air bath was amazing! The rooms were clean and I'd love to stay here again someday.
