Hokhmah Heart Hotel

I was fortunate to come across Casa Boutique Hokmah here on TripAdvisor while researching for interesting places to visit in the Riviera Maya area. I read all of the positive reviews of Malonie and her staff, and decided to book a few nights there at the beginning of our trip to serve as a base for exploring the Ruta De Cenotes. It looked like a safe bet, not to mention it was relatively close to the Cancun airport, in the grand scheme of things, and allowed us to arrive into Cancun in the late afternoon and still drive there by a decent hour. We ended up arriving a little bit later in the evening than originally planned after some travel delays getting into Cancun, but there were no problems with our reception at the property, and Rafael and the dogs were there to meet us upon arrival. After easily resolving a minor issue with a little help from Malonie, we got settled into our room and decided to let the kids go swimming in the pool for a bit after a long day of travel and after Rafael indicated that it would be ok. As we enjoyed the late night swim, we met another family from central Mexico who had similar aged children who had the same idea. After working through a bit of Spanish/English translation, the kids were soon having fun playing in the pool together. We awoke the next morning to finally get to see the property in the daylight, and it was as peaceful and tranquil as I had read in the reviews. Roberto graciously helped us with the delicious included breakfast and then the kids went back for another dip in the pool. As we were relaxing on our first day while the kids swam, I spoke with Malonie about a nearby cenote excursion that I had overheard her discussing with another group over breakfast. It was not one of the ones that I had found in my research for the trip, but she was kind enough to book our family a reservation for the next day. The kids also enjoyed looking at the turkeys, ducks, and other animals that were there on the property. On the next day, we went to do the cenote excursion with the family that we'd met the first night, where we also did the ziplines + rode ATV's. It was a great time, and included two different cenotes, one to start things out and a different one at the end after the other activities were done. Over our few days there, we had several great experiences with the staff on the property and were lucky to be able to enjoy their genuine willingness to help us and other guests with various aspects of their vacations, and even since we returned home from our trip, Malonie was instrumental in helping me to reconcile getting the pictures from our cenote excursion resent after I goofed and didn't download them in the original time allotted because I didn't realize that they had an expiration. In literally moments, she was able to facilitate and I had the pics on their way to me again.! This hotel is absolutely amazing!! We loved being so close to cenotes and the town. Super cozy rooms , quiet and affordable. The animals on site were such a fun addition for our kids! The service here was absolutely amazing. They have beer and wine for sale and a delicious breakfast! Roberto and other staff was attentive and super amazing! They offer advice for cenotes that are affordable and super fun!! Thank you so much for letting us stay here!!

Located just a stone's throw away from Puerto Morelos town, yet ensconced in the heart of the jungle, Hokhmah Hotel offers the best of both worlds. Guests can easily explore the vibrant local culture and lively markets of the town while relishing the tranquility and privacy of a jungle hideaway. The proximity to cenotes adds an adventurous twist, inviting guests to uncover the mystique of these natural sinkholes hidden in the jungle's depths. This place is super amazing I been here just only 3 days and so far I'm completely infatuated with how this place looks. The Hokhmah Staff is amazing, They ensure that every guest's needs are not just met, but exceeded. Whether arranging a personalized cenote tour, recommending hidden gems in town, or simply providing a warm smile, the staff embodies the spirit of Mexican hospitality. They have lots of things to offer such as : Rental cars (Super Affordable ), The hot tub is to die for. The pool is very spacious with great temperature for day and night.

Great place to relax and chill! I stayed only one night but would definitely come back for at least a whole weekend. The place is really peaceful and the stuff really nice! You can cook your own meals but the food there is very goods My kid and I enjoy it so much!

this place is a hidden gem. we have stayed here two times now, first we were exploring the cenotes in the area and needed a place to stay and found this place on here and have it a try and we were suprised with this place. its clean and well painted well put together and has grown in between visits and the owner said she had plans to do some great things. theres animals as well not like a farm but theres some ducks and turkeys the kids liked to check them out. i would definetly stay here again instead of busy cancun or playa del carmen as its a short drive from either of them . here is only the sound of nature.

Tranquil jungle retreat. Plan to stay multiple days and just unplug and relax on the sandy beach by the pool. Ziplining, cenotes, and atv just down the road. Loved our stay, and plan on coming back again and again! Beds were super comfortable, and we both had an incredible night's sleep!

What a fabulous hidden paradise. A beach in the jungle. Big beautiful pool surrounded by white sand with the backdrop of the jungle. Watch the tucans eating papayas in the trees as we relaxed. We will be back!!! Such a lovely experience! Thank you

The hotel was amazing.. you walk through the main gate and see the beach in the jungle. So tropical and what a different experience! The pool is fantastic surrounded by white sand and the jungle behind. See the birds fly by and hearing the jungle come alive in the evening. I can’t say enough. We will definitely be back. Don’t forget to try the authentic home cooked meals. Delicious!!!

I cant say enough good things about this beautiful place. Melanie is incredibly helpful and friendly (and speaks perfect english for those who need that), she has amazing recomendations for things to do in the area. They offer home cooked meals which were AMAZING, probably one of the best meals we had in mexico. Beto is the concierge and was so good at making you feel cared for at all times, and was also hilarious. We felt right at home, and the surrounding jungle was abslutley gorgeous - the sounds at night are straight out of a movie. There are turkeys and pigs and the friendliest dogs in the world on the property. We would absolutley stay here again. The only thing we could complain about would be we didnt end up using the giant soaker tub which we were excited for as there was no warm water, but everything else was so great it hardly mattered. If you are looking for a romantic place to get away from the beach and bustle, Melanie and Beto will make you feel like one of the family.
