Muy buen hotel

We just came back from a 5 night stay here, including The Level. The greeting when we arrived from staff was fabulous, informative and friendly. Our room was nice, a little dated, but did the job - we had a wrap around balcony which was wonderful. Good air con and powerful shower. There was no extractor fan (or it just wasn't working) in bathroom so mirror took ages to clear and was the only one to do makeup in. It was also not a very well cleaned mirror. Mini shaving mirror light didn't work. Shower gel, shampoo etc was lovely. We did notice that our dirty cups did not get taken out of the room by the cleaner which was a bit annoying. We were all inclusive and had no issues or complaints here. Food was yummy and plentiful, waiters were fairly attentive. I did notice a lot of the wine glasses unfortunately weren't very clean (same for The Level). It would be nice if there was a drinks dispenser machine rather than glass bottles from an eco friendly point of view. We did not have any trouble with getting sun loungers on any of the days. Entertainment was really good and again the staff/entertainers were super friendly. The snacks and drinks at The Level were a great addition. Great to have a separate area to get breakfast in the morning as the main food hall seemed quite hectic at this time. WiFi great all around hotel and gardens. The pool area is one of the best I've been to. Only complaint here is The Level part of outside is grass so can get a bit muddy. I would say that this hotel (communal areas and rooms) is in need of an update/general touch up in places as it is starting to look tired (scuffs on walls, rust on shower pole, watermarks on walls etc). This, of course, did not make our holiday any less enjoyable but just worth noting. I would definitely say this is NOT a 4 star or luxury hotel - I would not rate this more than 3. When we left, we had to check out at 5am - we didn't know whether to check out at the level or main reception. When we enquired the day before, the lovely lady at The Level let us know it would be main reception and offered us a picnic breakfast to be ready for us the next day. Unfortunately in the morning it was not there and the guy on reception had no record of it. Other than this mishap, couldn't ask for more staff wise. Did not like that greyhound racing was advertised in the lifts due to the cruelty and abandonment of the dogs related to this. It is worth noting that other reviews have stated that Brits get treated as second class citizens here, in NO WAY did we experience this. The highlights of this hotel would have to be the amazing and friendly staff, and the fabulous pool. Downsides were upkeep of the hotel and overall cleanliness. This said, we would definitely be back again but would hope for a more refreshed and upkept hotel and room.

Travelled here as a family 4 adults and 2 children aged 2 and 7. Was a little apprehensive about going after reading the reviews but we loved our stay here. I requested low floor rooms and we were allocated 2 rooms next door to each other on the first floor which were a good size and had everything you needed, also a large balcony with table and chairs with a lovely view of the pool area. The only thing missing is somewhere to dry your towels and swimwear, we had to put them on the chairs and table. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and found this to be excellent value. The food at breakfast and evening meal was very nice with plenty of choice. We never ate at lunchtime in the restaurant as if we wanted anything you could get this from the pool bar. Going all inclusive meant we could have drinks in the dining room with our evening meal as well. All the drinks we tried were lovely. Wouldn’t have liked to be on a higher floor and rely on the lifts we always used the stairs but my son had a toddler in a pushchair and quite often used to ring us to ask to help him carry it upstairs as he gave up waiting for a lift. Pool area is Fab, Plenty of sunbeds available so don’t understand why people were queuing from 8.30am for the doors opening at 9, I used to watch them from my balcony sprinting for a sunbed, we always managed to get beds I guess these people are creatures of habit and have to sit at the same spot everyday. Wasn’t interested in the evening entertainment we used to go for a walk and a drink away from the hotel then come back and sit outside the bar that is upstairs off the reception area which was lovely, quiet and relaxing. All inclusive drinks were served until midnight. We found the majority of staff throughout this hotel to be very friendly and if I returned to Benidorm I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

We came the 10 of August for few day when came back to room a lovey bottle of some think for my husband 40 birthday which was lovey lovey pool lovey view not great food never change bed or toilet roll staff lovey amazing location with in walking distance sun bed nightmare have to queue people run our to get sun bed which is nightmare people but towels on sun bed and not even sit they great hotel lovey staff once food gone they don’t fill it back up which they should so much do they your better going our entertainment they so much our they lovey view of the pool our side to sit in the evening the food could been better more better pudding

Honest review...please don't let the negative reviews put you off. FAMILY HOLIDAY AGES 13, 40s, 70s STANDARD ROOM Pool renovations finished but there was still alittle construction work at the far side of pool for the new pool bar area but this didn't affect our stay at all. The hotel reception was amazing...very posh (we thought anyway) very clean hotel. Staff were very polite always happy to help if any problems or queries. Pool area was lovely & bigger than expected. NO INFLATABLES ALLOWED as we found out when lifeguard started waving his arms & blowing his whistle . Food was just your usual buffet style foods. No complaints from us as we dont expect 5* but can be very repetitive. We stayed Half board. You can choose daily between lunch or evening meal. Short walk to bars....15/20 walk to beach depending on walking abilities. Straight across from hotel is the rock & roll bar & tropical bar. Recommended the Alibaba kebab/takeaway place just opposite hotel. Gorgeous food we visited 3-4 times!! Lovely staff Prices did vary in hotel for drinks around €3.50-€4.50 for a can of kopperbeurg/pint of larger. We did occasionally buy beers/pop from the shops to drink. Aqualandia waterpark is just a 10/15 walk from the hotel up a slight hill. Would recommend we had a fab day can pay by card also which worked out for 3 adults £79...or €93 at the aquapark. But costs €7 a locker. Didn't see any trouble or strange people hanging around. The only downfall I would say is the hotel opposite (if you get a pool view) is very noisy after midnight alot of younger people could hear shouting/laughing/screaming into early hours. Definitely enjoying themselves but I am a very light sleeper so did take me awhile to get to sleep. Aircon worked fine, kettle in room, safe was Free to use. Minibar (chargable) just used the fridge to store a couple of bottles of water. Beds were very firm but fine for us. 2 beds pushed together & a sofa bed for 3 people sharing. Games room for kids. Had a fabulous week's stay

Absolutely fantastic hotel, staff friendly and helpful, hotel spotless, food absolutely gorgeous and so much choice, and the sups dupa king size beds are amazing great nights sleep, clean pool towels everyday and you’ll need them as the pools are brilliant.

We visited the Melia Benidorm that is my husband our 19 year old son and I. We had a Grand Premium Suite and my son had a Melia Room, both had access to The Level. The rooms are great kettle , coffee machine, fridge, mini bar (chargeable). The real bonus is the tapas and premium drinks between 5-7pm and the all day (until 7 pm wine and beer) everyday and the limited snacks crisps Nuts, cakes etc . The staff at the melia are all fabulous and the staff in the level are amazing and you feel very special

It was my first time in Benidorm last week and me and 9 other friends stayed at the Melia hotel. It was like a paradise from the moment you walked in and saw the lovely plant decor and paintings, then you walk out into the pool area which was huge and so relaxing to be around. Me and my friends joined in on some of the activities around the hotel during the daytime including learning the Bachata and Salsa with the lovely Eva and Aqua gym with Marcos which we really enjoyed taking part in. They were both so pleasant and full of energy and fun to be around. The rooms were very clean, tidy, spacious and had its own balcony overlooking the pool area which looked stunning. Breakfast was included every morning which was buffet style with so much selection and there was also a small shop within the hotel and an arcade which i must come back to use. Also when you step just outside the door you are surrounded by bars and restaurants which were all so brilliant. You have the Red lion right next door and The Sun Terrace which me and my friends especially enjoyed going to in the afternoon/evening. This hotel really helped make my first time in Benidorm memorable and im already looking at returning.

First class hotel people at the reception when we booked in very helpful Veronica and others. The cafeteria bar the staff are friendly Jose is funny but all the staff Lidia,ainoa,Fernando,Juan,angel,vivi,jesus the girl working with vivi. The lady when you check in for dining is very efficient at her job Cristin very helpful and does a first class job I am very happy with the hotel would certainly think about coming again Alan Dunn
