Good location in the town

Die Lage ist in Ordnung Dass hotel ist sauber Die Zimmer sind sauber aber Bettwäsche worden 2 Tage lange nicht geraucht Es gibt keine Deutsche sprachigen Personal. Das Essen wiebauf dem bilder zu sehen katastrophal Ich habe voll Pension gebucht aber leider gibts nicht zum Essen Ich musste draußen Essen Nur Übernachtung kamen buchen sonst Finger weg. Personal im Büffel nichts freundlich. Personal im Rezeption sehr nett aber wird nur Spanisch gesprochen.

Reading previous reviews I had mixed feelings about this hotel. Then we arrived 13th nov and the staff were very rude. Reviews claim for excellent air conditioning due to having no fridge in rooms. The air con doesn’t even work. When asked at front desk how to use it (was unsure if I was doing something wrong) front desk said no air con only hot air… also mentions a heated pool. Pool was Baltic and too cold to even dip your feet in. Beds are like slabs of concrete and we were there for 6 days and by time it was home time my sides were aching, pillows were shocking (you got 1 long one and then 1 tiny lumpy thing) so my neck and back also aching. Food was bog standard, vending machines only took cash and often took cash without giving you the product. Staff again downstairs were rude at the pool bar. Cleaners were doing their rounds as early as 8am and definitely not quiet about it! Walls are paper thin and can hear everything above and next door. when asked to leave said no and carried on cleaning (wasn’t aware there was a do not disturb sign) went down to ask for the safe key which was €22.50 in total €10 deposit and €12.50 which you wouldn’t get back. Location is good or poor depending on what you come for. It is a walk to the main strip but not far to the old town. But expect a good walk for a good breakfast/meal. Bathroom layout also questionable as shower was very powerful (thank god) but shower curtain was thin and stuck to your body while washing and the water just sprayed all over the floor making it very slippy. 3 plugs to a room so brought along and extension cable but electric is powered by a key card (you’re given 2 for a room for 2 adults) so must remember to leave key card in if you want phones ect charged for the day. Sun loungers outside were also broken mostly and the sun barely reached the pool due to buildings surrounding the area (no fault of the hotels, just useful information) I didn’t see a single person use pool facilities or even sun loungers for that matter.

Just back after 10 nights here, after staying here for 10 days last October. Lovely hotel, excellent value and service. Excellent staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast, they do excellent bar snacks and drinks. Lovely pool area, which I spent lots of time around. If you go to the hotel side of the pool you get the sun all day from around 11-15. Lovely staff. The hotel is located central to the different areas of the Lavante beach area. 10 mins walk to beach, 15 back from beach, due to hill. About 10 to 15 minutes walk to Old town. Never walked to Strip area, but would say someone with decent walking speed could get there in 15 minutes, taxi about 7-8 euro. Hotel entertainment is geared to Spanish guests, didn't bother me as we went out every night. Hotel rooms good, comfortable beds, decent bathroom, bedroom and balcony. Fantastic free WIFI, excellent coverage throughout hotel, room and pool areas. Don't rely on TV to watch British channels, didn't bother us. My ONLY two slight negatives of the room is no kettle, so bring a kettle if you do want a cuppa in your room, and no fridge. However as the free Aircon is brilliant the bottles of water and pop kept cool enough. Don't expect a luxury hotel, especially for £50 a night for a couple for bed and breakfast. Excellent value. If you want luxury pay luxury prices. Didn't have any meals apart from breakfast so can't comment on what is available.

What an amazing hotel staff so friendly. Especially the lady who worked by the pool could not do enough for us . People have complained about the food but with it being a very Spanish hotel don’t expect British fry ups if you want that take a 10 minute walk down to the beach- it is perfectly located to take a stroll into the old town . There was plenty of room by the pool . We are already looking at booking next September and hopefully we will get a pool view this time. Overall we had an amazing time in this beautiful hotel

The hotel is "Spanish"...in that most of the guests are Spanish, three generational families. Pool adequate...great for kids...all well behaved while having fun. Absolutely no "body shaming" which is lovely..."This is me"....all shapes and sizes. Brilliant. Couples, families, but no "Stag" stuff. A lovely atmosphere. In the evenings, older local ladies came round to play cards, and older gentlemen came to play dominoes. Evening entertainment, when we were there, was Spanish... crooners, and even staff singing in their "off " time. Staff absolutely friendly and very hard working...never at rest. Very clean. Food hopeless....what with all the brilliant cheese and cold meats that Spain has to offer...the plastic cheese slices and pink processed cold meats at breakfast were so disappointing. However, if you're into your carbs, plenty of bread, pastry, biscuits. Avoid the coffee in the restaurant...the coffee down in the bar is so much better.............Bus No 1 or 2 gets you down to the "Brit" strip along the beach. 1 Euro 60 cents...Or a 20 min walk downhill....harder coming back. The "strip " links in to the Old Town which has a lovely evening atmosphere. ...just use your google map. The Italian restaurants, like Pinnocchio, or Manila, on the strip, are grand. (We are not fish and chips, burgers, etc. fans)..but these serve fine Italian and Spanish food.
