"Another great stay at this lovely hotel"

"Lovely from the outside, very small and not much variety, met a very nice chap called Norman who was very well informed. Lack of options for beer and food, blonde bar lady unfriendly and stood on phone while serving. Used to be a great pub, if they were prepared to serve a couple of different beers (maybe peroni or moretti?) and not just pizzas and chips maybe it would be more busy. When I visited there were only 2 other people in the building for the entire 2 hours of my visit. Pizzas did look good but really fancied a burger with my beer (faux lager was nice, tried a few others but was not very keen)"

"I came here in April with a coach party but on my own. having looked up the hotel before I booking with the group I asked if I could upgrade to a side room as the rooms for one person were at the back and looked small. I was so pleased to get one at the side ,with a good side view of the bay worth the extra. Yes you could say the hotel is dated, understand they are doing up the bathrooms to have showers . My shower was over a bath was very slow ,but the bathroom and room it was clean, food fine and hot, never had problem with food running out at breakfast, you just wait a moment and more food came out. I had no problem with noise where I was. Was not impressed with evening entertainment but that did not worry me as after a long day out quite happy to go back to room at 9 . The staff were pleasant, and thank you for looking after my medication in the fridge. For me now on my own and never been on a coach trip and travelled many place in the world with my husband, it was nice to have breakfast and dinner provide for me for 4days in a friendly atmosphere."

"Lovely location, close to the beach and easy to travel to the rest of the island. As its a village vibe, the properties are fairly close together so you can hear everyone else in other properties."

"We always stay at the travelodge in Gosport when in the area for Clipper events and it has always been a very positive experience. Location is handy for Portsmouth and good parking locally. The atmosphere is friendly and a big shout out to Di and Hanna in particular for their friendly welcome and helpful advice. The rooms are spotlessly clean and we always sleep well. This is one of the best travelodge I have stayed at and always recommend to others. Keep up the good work team."
