This hotel is absolutely wonderful! Our room, though compact, was spotless, and the courtyard was a huge plus for drying laundry. Being a new property, it was immaculately clean. The housekeeping team was incredibly diligent, constantly cleaning every corner – even the lobby mats were regularly washed. This made it feel incredibly safe for our children and would delight any clean freak! The thermostatic shower was a fantastic feature, making bath time for the kids hassle-free without constant temperature adjustments. We loved the comfortable bedding and the unique mugwort-scented toiletries. The room even had a subtle sandalwood aroma, enhancing its traditional charm. Modern amenities like TV screen mirroring, voice-controlled room temperature via 'Xiao Du', and bedside wireless charging beautifully blend technology with traditional culture. The stepping stone path in the hotel courtyard is very picturesque, perfect for photos, creating a quiet oasis in a bustling area. It’s ideal for family trips, catering to all ages. The hotel's location is excellent too, within walking distance to Gulou Street and Shichahai, offering a fantastic opportunity to experience authentic hutong life. Truly a gem!
