Hotel dekat Dashilar, Beijing

Small single story hotel located in a quirky traditional old paved street.  Don't be put off by the rather bland reception area, once you walk through the security doors you enter a charming hotel with unusual tree based character.  We had a room with a large double and large single, perfect for our family of 3.  Room was very clean, bed sheets were clean with plenty of pillows.  Bathroom is cleverly integrated, clean and functional.  It would have been nicer if a bit more space had been allocated to the sink/wash basin area. Location is great.  Walking distance of Qian'man subway, which itself is adjacent Tiannanmen Square.  Also just 5 mins walk from some great food streets. Definitely recommend it.  Just one note: cars aren't allowed in the hotel's street so taxis will need to drop you at the end of the street.  Not a problem it's only a few minutes walk past quaint boutique coffee shops, art & antique style shops.  Enjoy the stroll....we did.

Great value for money! In the reception they did not speak English but were extremely friendly and really made an effort to help us with all our questions by using translation apps. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, next to all the main attractions and close to a metro station just with a lot of restaurants and shops close by, very convenient. There is a washing machine, a dryer and laundry detergent to do your laundry. Finally the breakfast was a small buffet with a lot of different and delicious food, including fresh soya milk 😍 Recommend everyone to stay here!

Each facility is well maintained, making people feel comfortable and convenient. In terms of service, the hotel staff are very warm and thoughtful. From check-in to check-out, they always maintain a smiling and enthusiastic service attitude. No matter what I need, they will answer promptly and patiently, making me feel at home.

After the Lantern Festival, we went out of peak hours. My child wanted to go to Beijing, so I brought my family to Beijing! I checked the hotel location online and it felt good! It was just across the street from Dashilan! There were commercial streets all around, and it was close to Tiananmen Square. The subway didn't need to be far away. The overall transportation was relatively convenient. However, there is one key point to reach the hotel, which customers need to pay attention to! Because it is in the core area of ​​Qianmen, there are certain traffic restrictions around it. You can't park randomly around it, and you can only get off at the taxi stop. Then walk more than 200 meters before you can walk back to the hotel. But this is a rule, and there is no way to change it. The following pictures are about the hotel! I feel that the hotel price is okay! After all, the location is here, and such a core location is worthy of this price! There is nothing particularly dazzling in the hotel lobby. All disposable toiletries need to be picked up at the front desk, which is also a rule of Beijing. The coffee machine and fruit tea in the lobby are provided free of charge. There is a conference table, and the desktop can be charged, which is convenient for network office workers. I personally prefer the laundry room. The equipment is complete and the space is large. There are also many ancillary equipment, including bags, which are prepared for customers, which is very considerate! The service staff will greet customers when they see them, including when I checked out last, and met the cleaning aunt. The aunt said goodbye to my child cordially and wished us a smooth journey! This feeling is very good, as if at home! Inside the room, I don't feel anything special. It is clean and all kinds of ancillary facilities are also complete. There is space and shelves at the entrance of the room, where you can unfold all the luggage. I like it this way! There is also a small degree in the room, which can voice control all the facilities in the house, which is very convenient and suitable for lazy people like me😆 However, there are too few programs on TV, which looks boring. But when traveling, I don't watch TV much. There are uninterrupted power interfaces in the house, which can be charged for a long time. I always bring a power bank when I go out to play, charge it in Dashilan, run back to the hotel to charge the power bank, and then go back to go shopping! The convenience of the location is undoubtedly evident! The terrace room I want has an outdoor space and a nice view. I can feel the atmosphere of the old Beijing Hutong! I can also see the National People's Congress and CITIC Tower from a distance, which is pretty good! Overall, I am quite satisfied, and my family is also satisfied! Looking forward to coming again next time!

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, particularly the gentleman with glasses on nights and the lady with the low ponytail on day/evening shifts. Both were quick to pull out the translation app and answer any questions. Never made me feel like an inconvenience for only speaking English. The gentleman kindly helped bringing my lugguage downstairs when checking out early in the morning, and assisted with communicating with the taxi driver. Free fruits and a selection of soft drinks, water and teas/coffee replenished daily when the room is cleaned. Slippers and an amenity kit were provided. Black out curtains in room. Beds are comfortable. Short walk to Qianmen Station which is well connected for getting around the city. Near Dashilan which is great for shopping and local food. I would recommend this hotel to others.

After choosing many hotels, I finally decided on Xiao Feng Xian. It was an unexpected reward. The room was very clean, and the elderly and children lived very comfortably. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic and made people feel very kind. The environment in the lobby was also very comfortable. It was very pleasant to have a leisurely afternoon tea. It is worth recommending to friends...

This hotel is located in the middle of Qianmen dajie, close to Zhushikou metro station. Once the taxi drop u off, you will have to walk 400m to the hotel. Taxi cant enter the hotel area because it is a pedestatrian street. You can find many souvenirs stores and restaurants and food stalls here. We also walk from hotel to Tiananmen and Gugong (palace). A bit hard for me to find the hotel because we arrive at night. You can find Xana hotel first. Then turn right to a hutong. Hotel is behind Xana hotel. The hotel itself is kind of old but quite maintained well. Checkin process is quick n brief. Room is small, simple and comfortable. Cleaness is just okay. Overall is okay

A hotel not to be missed, if one plans to stay at Qianmen or 前门。The venue - Qianmen itself is a tourist spot, thus when one steps out of the entrance of the hotel, you will immediately get into an environment filled with traditional Beijing ambience. Then the room that I stayed is large with functional layout and cosy L-shaped sofa. The breakfast choices were plenty and the wanton supper was so handy especially in the chill winter night. The staff was very helpful. Two staff: Jac & Vivian, both use their hp to help us booked tourist venues and made purchase through ”Meituan” when we lost our gloves. Vivian told us she will inform us to go to collect from the counter when the gloves arrived, but in the end, she sent the gloves to my room via the robot (as the attached picture). Such service is world class. We will go back to this hotel, should we go to Qianmen again.
