Hotel Dekat Pantai di Santa Barbara

Was here for 2 nights with my partner, and first time staying at a bnb. Was pleasantly surprised by how clean and conveniently located it was. It’s a short walk from state street, where all the good restaurants and retail shops are. The breakfast was delicious and cooked with soul. The cookies were also a lovely treat. Highly recommend for a homey and enjoyable experience!

We arrived at the hotel late at night, and it was great that the hotel had its own parking lot with no additional parking fees. However, the front desk staff during checkout seemed a bit cold and unsmiling, and they didn’t even offer a simple greeting. The breakfast options were extremely limited—the simplest meal we had during our entire stay in the U.S.—but it was enough to fill us up, and the coffee was exceptionally good! The service wasn’t particularly warm or attentive, and there wasn’t much in the way of friendly smiles. That said, the hotel itself and its decor were quite decent.

The hotel itself is very different in the way it blends in with the neighborhood, pretty nice in style and not what I was expecting for a Best Western. The hotel isn’t too far from the city center but also not close enough (which is why I gave a 4), but it is very very nice. I also gave a 4 for amenities only because I wasn’t able to use them as it was less than 24 hour stay, and I wanted to experience the city more. Overall, I did like it, comfortable bed and pillows and I believe I could have slept much longer if I didn’t have an 11am check out 🤦🏽♂️🤣. But overall I was satisfied and the staff both office and cleaning were very kind and helpful. ❤️ Santa Barbara is a very beautiful city and BW gave the right price for my stay. 👍🏽

The hotel was very nice! The rooms were clean and modern and the service was great. We thought there would be a microwave in the room and there was not, but there was a sizable mini fridge so that worked for us. The continental breakfast was included in our stay and it was great! Several options and the food was very good. The room was quiet and it was located near many attractions, such as the Museum of Natural History. It was only about a 10-15 minute drive to the beaches and the SB Zoo as well. We had our 5-year-old with us and it was family friendly. Overall, a really wonderful stay.

Thank you, everything was great and very comfortable. Loved the wine hour and the breakfast. Maybe you can add eggs to breakfast to make it whole.

The hotel is in an awesome spot! You can walk everywhere and it’s in the heart of the Santa Barbara area. We loved the lobby and spent time there relaxing. Our only issue was that the room was never cleaned and we had to ask for towels and the trash to be emptied.

Ideally located in Santa Barbara, great value for money and lovely ownership. A good motel overall, not hotel quality but you get what you pay for and we were happy for the night.
