The hotel was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was amazing . Had a lovely time there and would book again next time visiting Baths.

Friendly & inviting staff. Our room was nicely resented everything you needed, wash items, offer bags & milk. Room was very clean apart from toilet bowl which looked very discoloured. Breakfast was nice food with good variety of food. Matteo was very friendly and helpful with a willingness to help in any way. Harry did a good job cleaning tables. It was a very busy morning at breakfast and these two especially Matteo were doing everything 😊

Great location for the centre of Bath, right next to Waitrose as well. Handy to nip back and forth to, during the day. Good bed, decent bathroom, although was expecting a higher level of cleanliness. Flush not strong enough on the toilet. If you can get a view onto the canal side it's a bonus. Good breakfast, good range of options, friendly staff. The one lift isn't great and is slow to come down to ground floor - we ended up walking down via the stairs most of the time. Just about ok price-wise, especially considering it is a stone's throw from the centre.

We were assigned room nos. 226 and 227 this time. The rooms are more spacious than those rooms near the two lifts by the front desk. It is good to see familiar faces of the front desk staff as always. They are all very friendly and helpful, offering kind assistance during our stay. The only unexpected “hiccups” are the noises produced by the air conditioning inside the rooms, particularly room no. 226, we have been hearing machine noises running in a 20-second intervals the whole night, quite annoying! Other than this, our stay has been fairly comfortable. Staff professionalism is wonderful with this hotel! We will certainly come back but hope will get a quieter room next time.

Booked a one night stay here as we were in Bath for a day trip, the room was well maintained and clean, it was also near the main attractions like the Bath Abbey.

Second stay but didn’t find the room as good as the last visit. Not topped up with toiletries and bath seal could have done with replacing. Breakfast which is usually good was poor at apparently the quiet time with supplies running low.

Good location within the city. Spacious lobby which is great. Rooms are good size , bed was a small double, and amenities was sufficient. Will stay again but upgrade to larher bed. Lobby staff were efficient and helpful.

Trip.com confirmed to me that this hotel is welcomed for children to stay with parents free of charge (with no additional fee) during hotel accommodation, but the hotel manager Ron said extra charges of GBP100 would be added if children are staying. This time we had quite a bad hotel accommodation experience but anyways, we did obtain hotel manager’s kind arrangement for complimentary breakfasts as well as late check out although we checked out on time by 11:00am. Well, forget it for this kind of bad experience soon I hope. Thank you!

Great Hilton. Amazing staff. Having recently stayed in the worst Hilton in years (Kiel) that had me swear not to use a Hilton again, but I already had this booked and honestly Bath Doubletree couldn’t have been better. Restored my faith and more. Thank you!

Nice location and the room is big enough for my family with 2 juniors. Like the gym but the car park is not quite flexible as it charge you 24 hours rate even you just park for a few hours.

Only one lift was functioning and with the baby stroller, getting up and down from first floor was nightmare. Room service was also so so.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bath! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful, and although we arrived early, our rooms were already prepared and we were allowed to check in early—such a lovely surprise! The warm, freshly made cookies on arrival were a delicious treat, and we were also welcomed with drinks and popcorn, which was especially appreciated on such a hot day. We had booked three rooms, and all of them were perfect—spotlessly clean, tidy, and very comfortable. We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised us with complimentary drinks, balloons, and even mini desserts, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The restaurant staff were just as impressive—so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone. Overall, it was an incredible stay. Thank you to all the amazing staff at DoubleTree by Hilton Bath for making our visit so memorable. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bath to celebrate my child’s 18-month milestone, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Hotel: DoubleTree by Hilton Bath Check-in: April 18, 2025 Check-out: April 21, 2025 Confirmation Number: 3243761901 To begin with, our room was not cleaned until 5:30 PM. After returning from a day of travel, I had to make multiple requests for housekeeping. Even then, the room was not properly cleaned—items were still on the floor and the bathroom tissue box was left open. Since I was traveling with a toddler, I had to clean the room myself to ensure it was safe. There were no water bottles, cups, or glasses provided in the room. When I called to request these items—mentioning I needed them to prepare a feed for my child—it took far too long for anyone to respond. I had to call several times, and on some occasions, no one answered the phone at all. That evening, I accidentally left my baby’s feeding bottle in the lobby. I called the reception and was assured someone would check and get back to me. No one followed up, and the bottle was never returned. At check-out, the receptionist mentioned that the hotel was short-staffed. While I understand staffing challenges, that should not affect the basic standard of service expected at a Hilton property. Additionally, I called Hilton customer care the following morning and raised a complaint. I was assured that a colleague would send me a follow-up email, but I have not received anything to date. Please note that this was an international call and lasted over 15 minutes—you should have the call on record. I am extremely disappointed. I booked with Hilton because of its prestigious reputation, expecting a comfortable and reliable experience for my family. Unfortunately, this stay fell far short of expectations. Guests invest their time, trust, and hard-earned money into these experiences, and this one was truly disheartening. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution.
