Caravan sites need attention as do gardens and bathrooms need a lot of work, but the location is great and it's easy to overlook the state of the accommodation and enjoy the stay. The beach is very safe and coffee is available most mornings in front of the lifesavers. There's plenty of walking paths in all directions.

Had a great time at this park. Pros: we had the furthest powered site from the beach and it was only a 5 min walk across the park to the beach. Ample space on our site for our 10 metre van plus 5 metre car. Amenities were old but functional, everything you need. Very close to the centre (walking distance) of town with fish and chip shops, excellent pub, ice cream and trendy clothing stores. Short drive to Woolworths , fuel and chemist. Close to Bundaberg for day trips (20 mins). Cons: bindis are extreme - make sure the kids have their shoes on and don’t bike over any dead grass (they punctured my tire). Town isn’t next door - it is walking distance but 15 mins ish, but it’s a beautiful walk. Camp sites are fairly skinny and quite close to one another. In saying that, our camp site was spacious and we went off season so park was quiet. Overall I would recommend it!

A complete lack of staff interest in the welfare of guests following a severe electrical storm was the main takeaway from our stay at this park. We were relieved to miss the lightning strike on a nearby camper trailer but had our own issues with an erupting stormwater drain located at our tent site. After seeking overnight refuge in our car , we had to ask for a rake from park staff and spent the first full day of our holiday cleaning and drying out equipment without so much as an offer of assistance. Cost to date includes a Waeco fridge/freezer, electrical fittings and mats.

Beautiful caravan park with plenty of space on site. Clean amenities, entertainment and food vans over holiday periods. Fantastic staff, well stocked shop and bikes/carts for hire. Beach access is just across the road. Great place for families.

Great camp ground, easy walk across road to beach, lovely staff excellent facilities and very clean. Easy walk to town/Sports Club and other walking tracks/bike track ie to Turtle Beach. We are frequent caravaners to this camp ground and there are many things to do around the Bargara area.

Very well maintained caravan park. Plenty of room as it was not overcrowded. Amenities were above standard and the camp kitchen was next level. Great swimming area for those wanting to learn how to surf or ride a stand-up paddle board. Park was clean and tidy as well as the camp kitchen.

The friendliest place on earth Staff bend over backwards to help you where they can Really well kept park and food vans during the week. Fresh Pizza each Friday which is delicious Amenities are well maintained. Easy walk to town for a cuppa or lunch Beautiful place to stop for awhile Stayed for 3 months will be back

Quite a nice location, nice shady grass sites. Value for money wasn't the best . The park needs a nice pool area!! The council need to tidy up the grass areas on the beach front. However it was over the Christmas holidays, so maybe they were on holidays too?

Excellent location, walking distance to the beautiful beach, esplanade, shops and skate park. Large camp sites and plenty of space allowing kids to run free in a safe environment. Clean and spacious amenities. Friendly staff. We will be back!
