Citytrip Borne

The price and location of this apartment looked very enticing on *********** but we were robbed of over €250 from them. We attempted to book this apartment through *********** and all seemingly went well. I entered my card details and it said the payment successful. A day or so later I received an email from *********** to say the payment had been rejected. I was told I would need to send payment directly to their bank account. I found this to be very suspicious and something I was not at all comfortable with as I had wanted to book through ***********. I was told that it was down to a new law in Spain and it had to be send to the apartments directly. This also seemed strange as we had just booked and stayed in Valencia only 3 weeks prior to this with no such issues. We decided not to send it to the bank account directly and to ignore the messages as we thought it might be a scam. They had told us that we could not pay through *********** and so we thought the booking was essentially cancelled. We went and booked another apartment for our holiday (which there was no problems with). Citytrip Borne then proceeded to take the entire balance for the stay out of my account - which they said previously they could not do! They had completely misled us for absolutely no reason!! Despite us saying that it made no sense why they couldn’t have clearly done the payment through *********** to begin with they refused to give us a clear answer. We tried to resolve the issue through *********** but we had no luck. The apartment stole the money from my account after assuring me they could not take my money that way. We were shocked and appalled at the unprofessional and deceptive way we were treated. I would not only not recommend this company and these apartments I am actively telling people to never deal with these criminals.

Non è il miglior appartamento che si può trovare a Barcellona, ma nemmeno il peggiore. Avevamo l'ultimo piano, quindi anche con il terrazzo e si accedeva tramite codice. Fortunatamente, non ci è successo di persone che provassero a indovinarlo ed entrare, e nemmeno che ci bussassero ininterrottamente durante la notte. Le camere non sono male ma è vero, non corrispondono alle foto caricate sul sito. Il quartiere è rumoroso e ambiguo, ma a noi non è dispiaciuto, è stato parte dell'esperienza e lo ricordiamo con piacere. Per chi dice che il quartiere sembra poco sicuro, è un'affermazione un po' razzista perché è ricco di persone straniere, che a noi non sono sembrate minacciose o fastidiose, ma anzi, molto disponibili a dare indicazioni e per le loro. Si trova accanto al barrio gotico che è stupendo, molto suggestivo, e vicino alla Rambla e alla metropolitana. Non lo consiglierei (anche perché non lo abbiamo scelto noi, lo ha prenotato un'agenzia a cui ci eravamo affidati) ma se vi dovesse capitare non è terribile come sembra. Il checkout è molto preciso, ci sono letteralmente venuti a cacciare dalla stanza, senza nemmeno un minuto di tolleranza.

Appartamento in centro a Barcelona l unica nota positiva molto scarso servizio pessimo pulizie assenti tovagliame una sola coppia di asciugamani per quattro giorni , mancava anche la cartigenica. Mai stata in un posto simile direi allucinante

Wij hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad! Schattig oud Spaans appartementje in een smal steegje in de wijk El Borne. De locatie is perfect! Je loopt zo de deur uit de gezellige straatjes van El Borne in. De dichtstbijzijnde metro is ca 6 min lopen en de Ramblas 10 min. Het appartement is keurig netjes en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden en bedbank liggen prima. We hebben geen geluidsoverlast gehad en we hebben ons ook totaal niet onveilig gevoeld in deze wijk. De smalle straatjes zijn goed verlicht en er zijn tot laat veel mensen op straat. De communicatie via WhatsApp met verhuurder verloopt perfect. Er wordt direct gereageerd bij een vraag of probleem en alles wordt keurig netjes afgehandeld of opgelost. De beoordeling met 2 sterren hier op TripAdvisor is wat ons betreft echt niet terecht....wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug en kunnen een verblijf zeker aanraden!
