Hotel Margot House Barcelona

Such a wonderful, cosy, lovely hotel and very friendly staff!! It really felt like home. The breakfast was served in a beautiful common room and cosy kitchen. The rooms are decorated with style and warmth. Extra points for Aesop products! Huge recommendation!

We loved our stay at Margot House. It really felt like a home away from home as we became close with Marta and Jennifer and some of the other support team at the hotel. Our room was super quaint and super comfortable with a great view of Casa Batallo. The vibe was like a small, chic private home. The location was perfect. the nespresso was delicious every morning in the room and we loved the free beers and cokes and water in the mini bar! We most definitely will return.

Hotel is well ran and is very well located near main attractions. The team (Marta & Emmanuel?) was very attentive and friendly and always looking to help with anything - they deserve all the praise! Room was neat and tidy with cleaning service everyday - bed was super comfy. Breakfast buffet was well prepared with a diverse spread of fruits and pastry. Definitely will be back!

For Boutique Hotel lovers this is your place. The fact that it’s only 9 rooms is just amazing. I’ve been to Barcelona a lot this is the best hotel I’ve been too. The rooms are spacious, the manager Narcis he is very helpful, experienced and nice and Marta the receptionist she is beyond helpful and kind. I loved the place

Stayed in 2 rooms at Margot House with my mom and teenage son over the winter holidays. The location is ideal. It’s in a great neighborhood and right off one of the metro/train stops. Our rooms looked out at one of the Gaudi designed buildings, across the street. Over our few days here we grew to appreciate leaving the bustle of the city to return to this small, peaceful hotel. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us. The breakfasts were wonderful with a wide spread of choices. There is some noise transfer from the street but we didn’t find it kept us up at night. If you are noise sensitive, their inner rooms (less natural light though) would be a good option. They have a great family suite which they showed me where you could sleep up to 6 or 7 and have 3 adjoining spaces. The wood on the bathroom sinks and floors hasn’t worn well but the rest of the interior design is lovely, modern and tasteful. The bed was quite comfortable.

Amazing experience ! We arrived early but fortunately our room was ready and we could check in early. They gave us a free room upgrade which was amazing, we had an amazing view of casa batllò. The staff were really helpful and friendly. If we ever come back to Barcelona, this is the place we would stay!

The BEST experience and the best staff! Margot House is a boutique hotel in the heart of Paseo de Gracia. You enter through an ornate gate on the street where you are buzzed into the building. Once the heavy black door opens, you are transformed into luxury. Beatiful wood floors with modern, furnishings adorn the common space, which is HUGE! There's a beaotiful kitchen where you can have breakfast (yes- you shoud add on the breakfast!!) with fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, meats and cheeses and fresh eggs cooked on the spot. Any kind of coffee is made and brought over to you; all you have to do is relax and enjoy! Rooms and hotel are SPOTLESS. I loved the sustainabiity of the hotel: toiletries in bamboo packaging for you to keep, glass water bottles filled with water in your room, and a key in a switch to turn off everything when you aren't in the room to save energy. The room has sa small fridge with some drinks as well at no extra cost. The room key is COOL! It's an old key (think lock and key in the door) on a giant square. You leave it at the desk (which always has someone sitting there) so you don't have to carry it with you and worry about it. Can't say enough about the staff here, too! Special shout out to Mireia and Paola who went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. Everyone here will help you make a reservation, give you directions, find a place for you to eat and recommend great shopping. Location is perfect- directly accross from Casa Battlo and a short walk to Casa Mila. If you are thinking about booking Margot House- do it!

We have stayed at a lot of hotels in Barcelona, and this has been our best experience. From the extremely friendly and helpful checkin we immediately began to relax. The room and public areas are of a wonderful design and most importantly very comfortable. After a two evening stay we began to wonder why we did not book longer. A huge thank you to all of the staff for making our mini break in Barcelona a memorable experience. We will be back!
