IItsnamthipA Perfect Birthday Stay at Pakasai Resort!
I stayed at Pakasai Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi for 2 nights (June 22–24) and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience—especially for my birthday! I originally only hoped for a room upgrade, but the resort went far beyond my expectations and made my celebration truly unforgettable.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the surprises didn’t stop there. On my birthday, I was greeted with a beautiful birthday cake, a thoughtful message arranged on the bed, and genuinely heartfelt service throughout the day.
I also booked dinner at GAIA, the resort’s own restaurant, and was treated to a free cocktail to celebrate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent—it was the perfect birthday dinner.
The resort itself is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel close to nature. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the entire resort has a calm, welcoming vibe.
Overall, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I highly recommend Pakasai Resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang, especially if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, and genuinely caring service. I’m already thinking about coming back!

QQuanshui-dingdongAnak-anak saya sangat menyukai hotel di Krabi ini sehingga mereka berendam di kolam renang setiap hari.
Setelah seharian di laut, saya masih harus terus berendam di kolam renang tanpa makan sekalipun.
Terdapat banyak anak-anak di kolam renang, bermain bola, berbagai ring renang, dan seluncuran air super. Orang tua juga bisa minum di water bar. Sangat nyaman.
Untungnya, kolam renang tutup pada jam 7 setiap malam, jadi kami bisa keluar dan makan.
Lingkungan, sanitasi, dan pelayanan semuanya sangat baik. Ruang keluarga yang kami pesan juga sangat luas.
Parkir mandiri juga sangat nyaman.

MMUHAMMAD AKMAL BIN MAT RANIGreat location, near to ao nang beach, but not too buzy, near the mosque, lots of halal options. The receptionist, bell man and chill kitchen are great esp Mr tun (bell captain), always smile and very helpful. Breakfast crew are warm and welcoming. However the check in was not on time, was told 40 minutes for the room to be ready, the check in was settled around 4pm. The room was spacious and clean. But the hallways looks like it is still work in progress and quite dusty. We were not happy during our 2nd day as no housekeeping done for our room, we went back late in the evening, called twice for new towel end up going down to the reception to get our room cleaned. This is the 1st out of many five stars hotel we encounter this issue. I was surprised they told us this is a 5 stars hotel..Mind u,we just got back from their sister hotel in lombok (pullman) and it was phenomenal. So we expect the same thing to this hotel.
Since this is a newly opened hotel, I hope they will improve..

SStephenQuattroThis place was a disappointment at the beginning. The reception staff had a very dismissive tone when we tried to book in early. The check in notice was smoothly pushed in front of us and it was unusual treatment from Thailand where people are always friendly even if they might not understand English very well. The rest of the resort was good. Good location right next to the beach, were you can see the tides coming in and out. The long tail boats stops right on the beach eager to take you wherever you want to go. I went to the reception toilet, sorry to share but it was amazingly clean and surprising after the unwelcome reception.

It used to be a temple so it has a fantastic Thai architecture.
The room and bathroom were really big and spacious. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping is daily and dedicated. The aircon worked well, the bed was comfortable and there's plenty of furniture in the rooms. The swimming pool is big and in good condition.
The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the central Ao Nang area.
The wifi was very weak during the whole stay.

TTamuI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal.
I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable.
Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data.
Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common.
The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand.
The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon.
The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets.
Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.
