"Enjoyed everything about our stay at Argyle House. Rooms were comfy and spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the owner was especially friendly and welcoming. There was even complimentary local whisky in the room! It’s in a great location across the road from a free car park and with beautiful hills and scenery all around. Great place to stay!"

"Wanted to get some lunch so visited this place. Owners dogs attacked my small dog and bit him, no apology offered was cold and rude about the incident. Do not stay here if you plan on taking your pets !!!!!!"

"We camped in the walled garden, with all the facilities of the hostel right there and available to us. Really clean and modern kitchen, toilets and showers, plus 2 shed for drying and bike storage. Lots of information about what to see and do nearby, it’s a great base to explore. And plenty of board games for when the weather was a wee bit wet!"
