I booked this hotel for my boss, and he had a wonderful stay without any complaints. The service was attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and all arrangements were well-prepared. My boss was very satisfied with the experience, which made me feel confident about choosing this hotel. I had a truly wonderful stay at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the resort’s grandeur and breathtaking setting. The lobby, with its open-air design and sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, provided the perfect welcome. Sipping a freshly brewed coffee while gazing at the picturesque sea view was an unforgettable experience—serene, luxurious, and deeply relaxing. The service at The Apurva Kempinski was impeccable, with staff who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. My room was nothing short of extraordinary—spacious and elegantly designed, complete with a private balcony that offered stunning views. The highlight was the luxurious bathtub, which provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Every aspect of my stay, from the warm hospitality to the lavish amenities, made it an unforgettable getaway.

We booked a villa, the staff is always smiling, friendly and extremely helpful even when a light was not working at night we got this fixed in no time. The restaurant and the sky bar have a great selection of food and beverages, while the room and overall facility were in good shape and clean. Would definitely recommend for a chill holiday in Bali, only thing to note is that the restaurants nextdoor create a lot of smoke when lighting up the BBQs but once you figure out the timing and location it's easy to avoid. Would visit again, thanks again to all staff for making our stay very pleasant!

Arriving at the hotel I immediately smelled the mould. The hotel is beautiful but smells. We were kindly received at the door, they picked up our luggage, and served us a welcome drink while we did the check in. I started to sneeze and my nose clogged so I explained I was allergic to dust and I would like a room with more sunlight and wind. When we entered the room the musty smell was unbearable. I immediately complained and they promptly found another room without carpets. I believe it was an upgrade. They also sent us an apology card with fruits and chocolates. Unfortunately, the new room was still smelly, not as smelly as the first one, but we accepted as we were super tired and didn’t want to wait any longer. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Shower pressure was fantastic Breakfast was great, they had options like avocado toast, salmon bagel, burritos, and a variety of international options Bed was comfortable Swimming pool Temperature was perfect and the bar very convenient with great drinks Beach is clean and not crowded Sunset is beautiful The restaurants had a good environment and good food. A bit pricey, but overall worth it. Cons: Mould. This is actually the only reason I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. The smell is in the room and the entrance mainly. The rest of the areas are okay. This hotel was built in 1993, so I have to say that if it wasn’t for that, the hotel would be in amazing condition. Service by the pool was very slow, my husband tried to get a beer first thing when he arrived and only after calling the waiter twice they brought him the beer, but it was room temperature! 😞 Coconut water and beer were not cold, they actually offered ice, but it just made it watery and tasteless. Bike rental can only be used inside the hotel, and they don’t tell you that when you rent it. I tried to go out to cycle in the surrounding area and they didn’t allow me to go. After complaining, the charged me half price for the rent. I only used inside the hotel and at the beach in front of the hotel. Concierge service was very slow and inefficient. He didn’t have packages to offer, photos, or videos. Everything was searched on Google right in front of us. The only option given was a private driver that could take us anywhere we wanted to go. The problem is that we didn’t know the places, so we were expecting a better introduction to the island and the activities. We ended up doing our own research and hiring the driver. Transfer from hotel to airport costs 430,000 RP, but if you get a grab (similar to Uber/Didi) it will cost you less than 80,000 RP. Overall, the hotel is a good option if you can tolerate the smell. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t recommend it. Otherwise it was a great stay for the price.

This hotel is truly one of the best! The accommodations are spotless, and the entire facility is incredibly family-friendly. Kids are treated to free ice cream, and the kids’ club offers a variety of fun, free activities to keep them entertained. Breakfast is a highlight—definitely not to be missed. What made my stay even more special was the thoughtful birthday surprise. The staff decorated my room and gifted me a birthday cake, making me feel truly celebrated. If you’re looking for a clean, welcoming, and kid-friendly hotel with excellent service, this is the perfect choice!

Our room, located on the ground floor, was just a few steps away from crystal-clear pools that beckoned us to jump right in. There's nothing quite like the morning sun’s embrace as you enjoy breakfast poolside, surrounded by the soothing sounds of splashing water and laughter. Spending Christmas in this hotel was an experience filled with warmth and joy, albeit it was a full house! Breakfast became a bustling event, with throngs of visitors filling every available spot. “Tap, clatter, shuffle!” – the sounds of eager guests navigating through the dining area as the staff worked tirelessly to accommodate everyone. While more tables were added to manage the crowd, it did create a bit of a maze that sometimes felt restricted, but the festive atmosphere overshadowed the minor inconveniences. The most heartwarming moment came from the delightful hotel staff, who surprised us with Christmas stockings overflowing with baked treats and sweets, an unexpected and delightful gesture that made our stay feel truly special. These small touches made the holiday unforgettable, filling our hearts with cheer and warmth. In this hotel, every corner tells a story, and though it may not shine with newness, its spirit and community make it a wonderful place to stay. If you’re looking for a cozy retreat that thrives on genuine hospitality and the magic of the festive season, this hotel might just be the perfect fit for you. I left with a heart full of gratitude and fond memories, reminding me that sometimes the most beautiful experiences come from the simplest places.

It's my first choice of hotel whenever visiting Nusa Dua area! A wide range of good quality food served during breakfast, which shouldn't be missed, even in-room dining was amazing! Room is very well clean, staffs are attentive & friendly! Please keep it up 🤗

Nice hotel. It is located close to the airport and you can walk in 20 minutes. We stayed for one day, as we arrived late at night. Check-in 24 hours. The room was clean, the service was excellent.

Average room size but acceptable. It is an old hotel from outside but well decorated inside. Some facilities inside the room may not be perfect such as the shower with a low pressure. Internet WiFi needed to be registered through a website which makes it complicated, specially that I needed to connect my laptop and the IT came to fix it. Hotel is located in front of the sea but doesn’t have so much sea view rooms. Reception gave me the room at first floor which was not according to my booking, later I complained to change my room to the second floor. Cleaning staff are really nice and friendly, same for the entrance and security staff. Overall is more expensive than other hotels that I stayed but because of the location it may worth it.

Fantastic resort hotel directly across the Kuta beach! Huge mall beside the hotel and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance! Huge rooms with seaview view and best of all, the hospitality and the service staffs are spectacular!!!
