Karma Royal Sanur

Having just had a lovely few days at Karma Royal Sanur. The time speed by with the great team looking after us. Every single member of the hospitality staff went above beyond to look after us. Our room had fantastic views, downside sady was that the steeps step to get up and down each day did take effort. If you were to stay here and have mobility issues request a low floor, these is no lift There was a great kitchen set up if you were staying longer term. Food was well catered, we mist comment the chef on the great pizza we had it was truly light and very tasty. I watch from my room the meticulous care staff did to clean around the pool area even down to using a machine to keep the tiles looking clean and fresh. And as I watched they were all laughing and joking with each other. It was a joy to watch. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Again only a short but great stay at Karma Royal Sanur

Karma Sanur evening event with karaoke songs inviting individual participation from all country and enjoying the music in their voice was gr8 way in to know each other. Good food welcoming staff and cosy rooms make the place nice to come out of travel fatigue. All together near to city, walkable Martasari Beach, near to Ubud and other places of site seeing. Have a enjoyable vacation

Clean and tidy rooms and property. Cooperative pleasant and friendly staff. Breakfast was adequately spread. Suggestions from staff were very helpful.

The staff is excellent and was very helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was very good with quite a selection via the buffet and customized orders for omelets etc. The pool area was great; with plenty of sun lounges, umbrellas and pool towels. There was a selection of restaurants and shops a few blocks away. There was also a shuttle into the main part of Sanur twice a day. If you like wine and beer, there are several happy hour periods each week, as well as free drinks about three times per week. The main downside was the noise from the main road. It was unbelievably loud almost 24x7. We were in a room closest to the road, and no other rooms were available. Rooms further away may have been quieter? Crossing this road at night on the way to and from restaurants was risky; even with partial traffic lights. Walking along the side road with no footpaths was also risky, as you relied on drivers in heavy traffic to see and avoid you. The room was only that. There was no separate bedroom, no microwave, and the shower drain blocked twice during our stay. Daily cleaning was excellent though. We won’t be returning, despite the positive aspects. .

We had an excellent week I’ Karma Sanur. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Apartment was cleaned everyday to a very high standard. Drinks and food were first class and very reasonable. We used the spa which was the best two hours ever. I would definitely return.

The resort is run down. It is on a busy road, the entrance is awful and it feels like you have been dropped off at the wrong location. Breakfast was average and we didnt even bother on the second day. 3 Karma representatives hovering around all the time as well. The staff were freindly but this did not make up for it.

Karma Royal Sanur is very central, clean rooms serviced daily and very friendly and attentive staff. It was a very enjoyable stay but we do have the following feedback: We stayed on the 2nd floor and the lack of a lift was a bit of a downer for me. The outside of the building should get a bit of attention since it does look a bit run down. The included breakfast consist of fruit, cereals, milk tea, coffee, juice, rice, vegetables and ask for omelette when you sit down. The bacon is extra cost and no sausages. Needless to say staying a week, the lack of variety for breakfast should be looked at and add bacon, sausage would make it great. We used Bluebird taxi (use the app to book and pay) when we wanted to go anywhere since the heat in Bali was too much for walking anywhere. Book your own excursions with pickup/drop-off included via tripvisor.

Karma friendly and attentive staff made for a very relaxing holiday. They helped plan activities and co-ordinated transport and tour operators for when we weren't relaxing by the pool. Any issues we encountered with our room was quick taken care of.

Place had a bad odor while sitting at the small pool. Room needs to be updated and is very Motel 6ish. Busy road outside of the resort so you hear traffic all day. Construction going on at the resort (not told at anytime during check in or booking) so more noise during the day. Place is very old and in serious need of a facelift.
