From Kuta to Ubud, I thought I had grabbed a villa with good value for money. But the villa was extremely inconsistent with the real scene pictures and texts. It should be the private property of the fat old lady owner in Australia. The villa No. 4 reserved for us was simple and old (it was estimated that it had not been renovated for more than 20 years, and the so-called private swimming pool was just a small pond). The landlord was not friendly to Chinese tourists. We went out with a big family. The landlord said that we were dishonest and did not abide by the rules because our accompanying children were over the age limit (I felt a little guilty at the time, thinking that foreigners were still principled), and wanted to drive us out in the middle of the night. We wanted to make up for the children's expenses, but the landlord firmly disagreed. We had no choice but to drag the big and small boxes and evacuate in a panic. In the dark night (there are few street lights on the small roads in Indonesia at night), we took a taxi to find a house to settle down again, and tossed until midnight. We had previously negotiated verbally that we would evacuate and the landlord would refund the money (unfortunately there was no recording). The next day, the platform replied that the landlord did not agree to refund the money. Because the landlord changed his mind, we went to visit the Ubud Palace and the market the next day. We took a taxi to communicate again. The platform customer service also helped to communicate many times but failed (not for the room fee, but I wanted to know what the contract spirit of foreigners is like). The landlord continued to be arrogant and rude. Sometimes he said that he didn't know we had paid before, and sometimes he said that we lost one night because we didn't stay. Anyway, he continued to kick us out in the end, and he definitely didn't refund the money. This was the worst experience of a failed stay in this trip to Indonesia. Although the fee was not refunded, it was just a lesson learned. I advise all Chinese compatriots to be cautious when choosing to stay there. (This is the first time I have given a bad review on the platform, and the first time I have left so many words)

Ubud was our first stop on our mini-tour of Bali and staying at Lily Lane Villas made it so much better. We stayed in a 2-bed villa with pool. The décor was authentic Bali but we had all the conveniences you would expect in a modern hotel. The staff were really lovely and very helpful in booking excursions and organising a family spa afternoon for us. The breakfast was basic, but certainly good enough, with a variety of fresh fruit and toast, but could also be added to for a small cost. If we went back to Ubud, we would definitely stay at Lily Lane Villas again.

What a beautiful place, so relaxing and still near by the city. All the people are so kind and willing to make your stay very special. Everything from breakfast to dinner is so good. We had a lovely stay in villa number 5 at Lily Lane, the villa was beautiful with private pool and a great terrace. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Extra bonus to have the breakfast served in the villa in the morning. It was a great place relax after a busy day in Ubud.

Our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers, spent 4 days at Lily Lane Villas. The villa and gardens were beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast and dinner was authentic, delicious and served in the privacy of our own villa dinning area. The Australian owner Jillian made us feel so welcome and cared for with an itinerary she planned with us. There are drivers to take you anywhere and the villa is serviced daily. Such a beautiful experience - we would return.

We took a leap of faith and booked a holiday at Lily Lane Villas without any idea of what to expect. We were blown away by the service, the Villas and the vibe. If you want a break that revitalises and relaxes, we cannot suggest a better destination. We had not been to Bali before and appreciated the “local knowledge”of Jillian and Jim. They provided great suggestions on how to spend our time, safe transport, and in-house activities such as a cooking class and yoga. During our down - time we were treated to hour-long massages, facials, pedicures and manicures. Lily Lane Villas gives back to the local village by providing infrastructure such as a new Community Learning centre and by being an ethical employer.

What a lovely, quiet place to spend our time in Bali with family and friends. Villas and grounds were amazing which gave the feeling of being at a Balinese retreat, very relaxing. Jillian, Made and their wonderful team were warm and accommodating and gave us a great personal insight into the culture of the Balinese people. Local knowledge of places to see and things to do was invaluable and they also provided a number of activities for us to do on site such as making offerings, Balinese cooking class, yoga, massages and beauty treatments. An added bonus was the locals playing outdoor volleyball at the front of the complex. They were entertaining and very inclusive when some of our group joined in. Certainly a holiday we will cherish and hope that one day we can return to the warmth of Lily Lane Villas.

It was sheer luck that I found Lily Lane Villas. Jill found me when I was doing a search for accomodation. Lily Lane Villas made us welcome from the moment we were picked up from the airport and then driven and welcomed to the villas. I just loved the whats app group chat they set up for us, to ensure our safety and communication throughout our stay with them. We stayed for 22 days as we were doing a ceramic workshop at Gaya. It was so lovely to come back to the villa each day and fall into the pool, so refreshing. The morning breakfast was brought to our villa each morning which was lovely. Beautiful fruit and green pancakes - my favourite. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa, so big and roomy with a big kitchen, filtered water and freezer with ice! Lounge room and table, air conditioning and fans and wifi…. Everything perfect. We loved the village feeling, and I already miss the neighbours we saw each morning as we waited to be collected for our course. From the lady cooking satays to the dogs on the wandering around, the husband and wife in the shop, who all smiled and were friendly towards us. We were even invited to a blessing one morning by Jill & Wayan with the high priest, which was so beautiful. Thank you so much to Wayan and Made, Jill and Jim for making us feel so welcome and looked after. Cindy and the rest of the staff also. I”ll be back next year with my hubby!

We knew we were coming somewhere special when we booked Lily Lane - but the actual experience of being here exceeded expectations. Highlights are the beautiful villas and amenities - our private Villa with pool was a dream come true! The best thing about this place are the staff. Helpful, warm and kind to a fault. They are great communicators and made sure everything was easy. We are going home feeling so relaxed. All our best wishes to the Lily Lane family - Made, Wayan, Jim, Cindy and of course Jillian.

Our villa was absolutely gorgeous and clean. The staff was excellent and welcoming. Food was great. The driver who picked us up at the airport was wonderful. He took us to a nice restaurant for lunch on our way to the hotel. Had the best massage at their Spa. An absolute paradise. Booking was easy and the owner was very generous. Will recommend to family and friends. Will come back in the future. 💜🙏

Four family members stayed in lovely villa , the staff where so pleasant and helpful, organising taxis , restaurant recommendations. The villas are situated outside the busy hustle and bustle of Ubud central, so a quiet tranquil location to relax and unwind. We enjoyed room service dinner which was fresh and tasty.

We have just visited Bali for the second time and quite like the first time 5 years ago, we stayed at Lily Lane. This time for a full week in Villa Grandeur which is a short walk away from Lily Lanes main house. There is lots of space in the grand villa which contains three large bedrooms ensuite. In general the house is spacious and has a lovely secluded garden whilst placed in a real Ubud village. The staff are all lovely people who are very helpful and kind and in fact they almost seem like a family. The feel and atmosphere at Lily Lane is exceptional and I cannot imagine anyone not loving a stay here. Right outside your door of the villa you will find great (yet cheap) restaurants who willingly prepare all types of meals throughout the day.
