I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royal Kamuela Resort, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Everything about this resort exceeded my expectations—from the beautiful ambiance to the well-cleaned rooms, convenient location and serene surroundings. However, what truly sets a great hotel apart is how it handles unexpected situations, and Royal Kamuela excelled in this regard. We encountered a minor issue when we were accidentally locked out of our room, just as we were rushing to a scheduled massage appointment. Made Citrayasa and another staff in green (sorry I didn’t get your name!) responded with genuine concern, immediately took ownership of the situation, and went above and beyond to make it right. Not only were they sincerely apologetic, but they also proactively offered us a late check-out, ensuring we could relax and enjoy our stay without feeling rushed. Their commitment to guest satisfaction didn’t stop there. A miscommunication arose with our airport transfer driver, and once again, Made swiftly stepped in to resolve it seamlessly. Everyone in the team was friendly and their attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile truly reflect the heart of exceptional hospitality. Royal Kamuela Resort is a place where you don’t just feel like a guest—you feel genuinely cared for. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and thoughtfully managed retreat. I will definitely be returning!

Very nice location, convenient to nearby restaurants and walkable distance to art market, while at a quiet location.

Loved our stay here, room was beautiful and clean, staff were really nice. Will definitely come back here. There were monkeys around so make sure to keep plastic bags and food hidden or within your room.

Wonderful villas to spend a few days, be aware of the monkeys all over the resort. They might be overly curious. Higley recommend the apa treatments, one of the best massages I've ever got. Great breakfast selection.

It’s a great Villa and suits kind of a hotel in central Ubud next to everything important but the most important part of this hotel is their outstanding staff that go out of their way to make your stay a super enjoyable one

This was our first trip to Bali and it was everything we could possibly expect and more. The customer service at the hotel was the best i've ever recieved. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and the private pool was gorgeous. I do recommend geting the breakfast with the room as the food is gorgeous with a decent menu. it's a 15 minute walk from the main street but really quiet. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Had an amazing stay at Royal Kamuela, extremely helpful service and offered help at every opportunity during our stay (Breakfast was stunning). Perfect location just by the Monkey Forest and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and cafes 😁 would 100% recommend this place for future travellers!!

The hotel is very well situated in the heart of Ubud. I would highly recommend this hotel and shout out the staff, specially Agus, for the amazing hospitality.

A wonderful stay. Staff were fantastic and the resort was one of the best on Bali!!

Staff were warm and welcoming. Rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious. We felt so pampered by them throughout our 4 days stay. We had to catch an early flight so we had to leave the hotel before they served breakfast. The hotel packed bread and fruits for us and even remembered my request for some lovely lime oranges which was not part of the breakfast they usually serve. Location was near monkey forest and monkey forest road where there are plenty of places for food and drinks as well as some shopping. Wished we had booked earlier so we could have gotten the villas instead of the second floor suites.

Had a wonderful time, the hotel was amazing. Everything clean and lovely, friendly staff. Would love to come back again.
