Hotel dengan balkon di Phnom Penh

My stay coincided with the king’s coronation holiday and I was certainly in for treat! Three nights of fireworks, how lucky! I even got to witness a ceremony of sorts from my room window (red carpet and the full works). The hotel’s location is amazing with unmatched views of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum Park and from the rooftop infinity pool on the 12th floor, a breathtaking view of the river! Just a short walk on the main road, you’ll find a small Daily Mart with necessities, the victory monument just across the road, and Brown Cafe (it’s not the only branch but it’s the coolest-looking one with a little glass house centre and good cold drip coffee). While the hotel doesn’t have a gym, Phnom Penh is a relatively walkable city and you can definitely get your steps in while exploring. Don’t miss the sunset - absolutely stunning from the pool. You can order food from the restaurant (the hotel’s only restaurant on the 11th floor) and they’ll serve it to you poolside. Breakfast and the food at the hotel’s restaurant is average at best and you’re much better off having it at Brown Cafe just 2 min walk from the hotel, or any of the local eateries nearby. When I checked in, the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe king room but I noticed a strong smell of turpentine or some chemical sealant that stung my eyes. It was likely from some recent repair works. Turning up the AC and opening the windows solved it. Bonus points for the bedding - super comfortable. Had the best sleep and there were mornings where I had to pull myself out of bed. But the best part of this comfortable fuss-free hotel is the warm hospitality and service from the hotel staff. They truly made my stay feel like a home away from home. Special shoutout to Thiya from the front desk for helping me out when I broke a glass in the bathroom, and for his patience with my incessant queries. I’ll certainly be back!

Hotel apartemen yang luar biasa dengan staf yang sangat peduli terhadap layanan! Hotel ini tampak baru dengan semua kelebihan yang dimilikinya. Kamar besar dan kamar mandi yang bagus. Fasilitas modern. Mesin cuci di balkon. Kulkas besar dengan freezer. Televisi besar dan modern. Kolam renang di puncak gedung dan pusat kebugaran super modern dengan banyak peralatan yang berbeda. Pusat kebugaran juga memiliki AC dan kemungkinan untuk mengalirkan udara melalui jendela sehingga membuat sesi latihan menjadi nyaman. Ulasan diberikan sedikit lebih rendah pada LOKASI, tetapi ini didasarkan pada fakta bahwa hotel ini berjarak sekitar 3-4 km dari istana dan semua tempat wisata di sana. Hotel ini dapat ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki ke beberapa pasar dan Museum Tuel Sleng (1,2 km). Bagaimanapun juga, hotel ini berada di pusat kota dan sangat mudah dijangkau dengan tuk tuk. Ada beberapa restoran di area sekitar hotel apartemen. Stafnya sangat ramah dan peduli terhadap layanan. Mereka menyediakan proses check-in yang lancar dan sangat membantu selama menginap. Hotel butik mewah Parc 21 sangat direkomendasikan.

On this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda. A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold. Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife. Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that! Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient. Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me. Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK. Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed at Ostro from 19th to 21st Mar. Had a really pleasant stay. My only complaints are that there was no fridge in the room and the shower had little water flow. What made up for the service was the Front Office Night time Receptionist. She was really friendly to my friend & I, she even treated us to a glass of beer on our last night. The day time receptionist was also really friendly & greeted with a smile each time. Such gestures are what make me come back to such establishments! Cheers, Koala

Bahasa Indonesia: Di seberang AEON 1 untuk berbelanja dan makan enak. Sekarang ada 3 mal AEON di Phnom Penh. Tuktuk yang dipesan melalui aplikasi biayanya 6.000 Riel ke Pasar Malam. Resepsionisnya sangat ramah. Dia memesankan saya tuktuk dan saya membayar tunai langsung ke pengemudi. Terima kasih banyak. Seingat saya, staf resepsionis tidak bekerja dari jam 3 pagi sampai jam 8 pagi. Kamarnya besar dan barang-barangnya terbuat dari bahan berkualitas tinggi. Saya suka kolam renang di lantai 41. Pemandangan sungai dan kota yang menakjubkan di sana. Restorannya ada di lantai yang sama jadi kami berjalan melewatinya untuk menggunakan kolam renang. Tidak ada tamu lain di sana ketika kami berdua berenang. Kolam renang buka mulai jam 7 pagi. Ruang ganti kecil dan toilet berada di dekat kolam renang. Ruang Kebugaran berada di lantai 7. Kualitas tinggi dan layanan hebat. Tidak ada seorang pun di sana ketika kami berolahraga. Setelah tamu selesai menggunakan mesin berjalan dan berkeringat, staf pria datang untuk membersihkan mesin. Bagus sekali! Handuk tersedia untuk digunakan tamu baik di Ruang Kebugaran maupun Kolam Renang. Proses check in dan check out berjalan lancar. Mereka mengembalikan deposit 50 USD dalam USD dan Riel. Di kota-kota lain, kamar seperti ini biasanya berharga 70 USD. Di sini harganya sangat bagus. Bangunannya adalah Gedung Celeste di seberang Sofitel dan AEON dan kami berjalan melewatinya ke gedung berikutnya untuk melihat meja SF Hotel di sudut. Nilai yang sangat baik untuk uang. Ngomong-ngomong, ini sebelumnya adalah Caesar Hotel jadi fasilitas kamar dan handuknya bermerek itu. Kamarnya agak usang tetapi bersih dan nyaman. AC butuh waktu lama untuk mendinginkan kamar karena mereka memiliki penutup di depannya untuk menghindari aliran udara langsung ke tempat tidur. Jalan setapak berkarpet dari lift ke kamar. Kami sangat menikmati masa inap kami dan ingin kembali untuk berenang lagi.
