According to the introduction, it was newly renovated in 2023. The room is very new and the window has a wide view. The electric screen curtains and light control are also very easy to use. The toilet and the bathroom are separated into compartments, which is a reasonable layout. There is an adequate supply of bottled drinking water. The welcome service is a smiling service. Chengde Banquet is on the 4th floor of the hotel, which is convenient for eating. The breakfast is OK and full. My parents are very satisfied with this family trip. The price is reasonable and the stay experience is good. In addition, there is a hotel introduction given by the housekeeper Damei, and the travel suggestions are also reasonable, but the itinerary has been arranged and it is not used. It is good for travelers who have not made a strategy to have such a housekeeper service.

Went with my wife during the October 7 day holiday . Our normal go to place was the Phoenix hotel that was booked. Place was ok. I say a 3.5/5 Service was good they told us about some tours they offer discounts on and a cool show about an emperor that has like 300 actors in it. Was cheaper than just buying it at the location I booked this because my wife said it was more “central” it was not. Kind of in the middle of nowhere tho near a temple we did visit. The other hotels are near the river and you can walk and see some real nice bridges and lighted up streets. The photos make the building look really cool. While the photos aren’t fake it’s way smaller than I thought it would be. The room itself was kind of small. Like half the size of the phoenix hotel and is only 4 floors so not much of a view. Mine was of a parking lot. Bathroom was nice the toilet was automatic and had a heated seat. No breakfast. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable and not much of a view. Did have a shopping center next door and taxis stopped near it. Kind of pricey but that was because of the 7 day holiday they had. I stayed at phoenix the week before and it was 200 rnb cheaper, nicer, more modern, twice the size, nicer shampoo/soap and had free breakfast.

My experience was overall good, but the bathroom of the room I booked for the first night (single, queen bed) was so stinky at night that I could not bear it. I called the concierge, and the maid came to clean the bathroom (they were very fast= good service) but the problem is in the pipes, not in the cleanliness, (it was very clean) so spraying a bit of air freshener won't solve the problem. I changed rooms the following night. Also, it was quite noisy at night and in the early morning, they should keep an eye on noisy guests. Last thing, but not less important, people were smoking inside the hotel corridors and it was stinky. The management should try to enforce the rules of non-smoking. I understand that know nobody in the hotel wants to call on the smoking clients, but not enforcing the law results in other clients being unhappy too. All in all, I would probably stay there again.

This hotel can be said to be the ceiling of Chengde. The environment is garden-style, each room has a different view, the waiters are very enthusiastic, helping with luggage, and there is a special person responsible for taking you to the room. The service attitude is very good, the breakfast is very rich, and I especially like to eat rice noodles. There is a Rolls-Royce and a Bentley at the door.

Hotel is situated within a neighbourhood area, suitable for those interested to experience the city from a local viewpoint. Grocery/departmental stores and various food choices within a stone's throw. Hotel staff is attentive and does great work ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Will stay here again.

If there is a flaw in terms of location, it is that there is a railway to the east of the hotel, which is at the back of the hotel. The hotel front desk informed this when checking in, so be mentally prepared. There are about two trains every night, and I don't know why the whistle blows every time. The hotel's facilities are okay. There is a sauna on the ground floor and a self-service laundry room on the second floor, which is very convenient in summer. I stayed in a family room, and it would be perfect if there was a small refrigerator. The sanitation is good, the hotel is very new, the equipment is relatively new, and the Internet is very fast. The service is very good, warm and comprehensive. The breakfast was a bit average and felt a bit plain. If there is no complimentary breakfast coupon, it is recommended to eat around. There are many places to eat. Overall, it's good. I would consider it again in the future.

The clean and spacious rooms, complete facilities, and thoughtful service made me feel like I was at home, warm and comfortable.
